Mr Malcolm Vie, August 2015: Great, friendly, helpful staff. Shame the fire alarm went off at 00:30hrs on Thursday. Something to do with steam from the shower in a room... Architects should know better! Comfortable bed and a great location, quiet at night. Will do this again. Well done Imperial!!
Miss Ilaria Possenti, August 2015: College bellissimo in posizione strategica, vicino a musei e metro.
Molto pulito, personale davvero gentile e disponibile per qualsiasi cosa. Consigliatissimo!
Mrs Janet Banfield, August 2015: Excellent value for money. Will use again
Mrs Elsie McLeod, August 2015: Bed uncomfortable and lift out of order for our stay but otherwise it was a great place to stay. Thank you
Ms Anuradha Reddy, August 2015: The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. It was a treat to be able to swim.
Ms Linda Boben, August 2015: We found the staff - in admissions, room cleaning and in the breakfast cafeteria were personable and helpful - lovely in fact! and this made our experience all the more enjoyable. Thank you.
Ms Estelita Galaraga, August 2015: excellent.WILL USE THIS PLACE AGAIN.THANKS.
Mr Matteo Brunetti, August 2015:
Mlle. Pauline SERT, August 2015:
Ms MIREN PARDO, August 2015:
Mrs Ann Cooper, August 2015: very enjoyable stay will use this accommodation again
Mrs Leslie Heading, August 2015: Pleasant airy clean room with pleasing outlook and many extras. Very helpful chap at check in desk and good and varied breakfast choices
Mr Peh Siang, Bill Ong, August 2015:
Dr Peter Fox, August 2015: We had a lower ground floor room which was initially very hot but otherwise adequate. However the main problem was the small size of the double bed - scarcely wide enough for two people
Ms Nicola Davies, August 2015: Perfect location and ideal facilities for a weekend break.
Mrs Sylvia Parker, August 2015:
Mr James Bryant, August 2015: In general a good experience as always. However a query regarding lost property has still not been satisfactorily resolved despite promises by the staff who nevertheless were courteous.
Miss Vanessa Redaelli, August 2015:
Dr Richard Parker, August 2015: This is simply good value
Mr brian powell, August 2015:
Mr Rod Levene, August 2015: Again, a pleasant and convenient stay at Imperial. The 'Average' for facilities was due to the fact that you are making guests pay for internet access. A university uses comprehensive access during term time and the same should be given to guests- even if only in public areas.
Miss Kathleen Hurrell, August 2015:
Mr KEITH CASE, August 2015:
Mr David Lomer, August 2015: This room is directly below the office and as such there was noise from the phone ringing in the night. Otherwise an excellent stay. Staff were wonderful.
Mrs christine boyd, August 2015: Very impressed, very welcoming, clean and quiet at night
Mattress was a bit uncomfy but ......
Ms Amalia Planells Dumont, August 2015: Staff helpful, everything ok ,the mattress was a bit funny I told reception but it was not changed.
Mrs Merete A Skeibrok, August 2015:
Mr Matthew Grosvenor, August 2015: I did not try the breakfast.
Dr Sabine Schleinitz, August 2015: Have stayed at the Imperial college accomodation several times now - very convenient and perfect for PROMs weekends - location unbeatable ! Many thanks to the always very friendly and helpful staff !
Mr Volker Michael Stracke, August 2015:
Prof Eve Coste-Maniere, August 2015: Staff were very helpful @imperial college Prince's garden when I asked to change rooms from one facing a wall, rather claustrophobic to a room with park view and roof view! Thanks for the welcome! Great to practice normal swim @Ethos gym! Best Regards.
Dr Catherine Nolan, August 2015: Overall, I was very very happy with my experience; check-in was a bit chaotic, but I can see this was probably unavoidable; on some days (week-end) I found the breakfast service somewhat chaotic- the space was too small for the number of people; I liked the availability of fruit, but I found the coffee too bitter and some of the cooked breakfast items unpalatable (eg the scrambled eggs); fried or -even better- poached eggs would be preferable. A better choice of cereal- healthy, rather than stodgy, would be appreciated. I liked the availability of the bar for food/drinks; the convenience store location could be better publicised.
Mr David Moran, August 2015:
Mlle. Melanie Mendez Becerra, August 2015: Calm, safe and central location
Miss Jennifer Owen, August 2015: Overall a great experience and wonderful location. Had we needed help I am sure staff would have been there for us. Would consider staying again in the future.
Mr Nick Shannon, August 2015:
Mr Richard Eden, August 2015: The say was very good no problems all in all good place to stay.
Mrs Yvonne Allen, August 2015: No phone signal in room, very unusual. Appreciate I could have put down a deposit for hairdryer but not worth the faff! Otherwise the perfect venue for the Proms especially the Late Night concert.
Dr Christian Kreibich, August 2015:
Mrs Anne Schneider, August 2015:
Mrs Gail Kirkpatrick, August 2015: It would be helpful if there were a few more tips on checking in. For example, the phone number to the front desk, where to leave keys on departure, where laundry facilities are.
Miss Agata Holobut, August 2015:
Ms Elisabet Marianne Thorin, August 2015:
Mrs Susan White, August 2015: Was very impressed with accommodation and service, only comment we would make was the fact that breakfast, which was very good, was served in the student restaurant which at 8.30 was a very busy place, however as this was student accommodation one might have expect it to be busy.
Ms breda shankey, August 2015: Fabulous location and excellent accommodation. It was great to have free use of the pool and gym. Thank you!
Mr James Sweasey, August 2015: My room was very well appointed. However the small and large windows in each room should be looked at as they were both difficult to shut and one would not lock. This is important as access from the street was possible for a determined burglar to the lower ground floor. I did record these details on my comment card.
Mr Newbury Wendover, August 2015:
Mrs Sonja Lawday, August 2015:
Mr Carl Peters-Bond, August 2015:
Ms Gwenda Graves, August 2015: We were happy with everything, although coffee I drinkable at breakfast!
Thanks for having us.
Mr Neil McKenna, August 2015: Excellent value for money - you'd not be guaranteed a room of the size of the single rooms at Southside in a hotel and you might be in a basement next to the boiler!! I had a quiet room with a view of the V&A roof :D
Srta.
Mr Paul Hurst, August 2015: Efficient service on arrival, clean, comfortable and quiet room. Altogether an experience I look forward to repeating. The accommodation is very convenient for the Royal Albert Hall, so attending a concert is a dream !
Mrs Angela Eggleton, August 2015: Great bargain for central London accommodation with an outstanding breakfast!
Ms jean Doorley, August 2015: Really enjoyed my stay. The only issue i had is with the breakfast. I am vegan and the breakfast was not worth my visit. All that was available to me was hash brown and beans. Neither was a healthy option as hash browns very oily and the beans generally contain sugar. Also there was no alternative to dairy milk. It would be great if healthy options were available as more and more people are very conscious and aware of the food they eat. Thanks.
Miss Claire Iles, August 2015: Room service each day was really random hit and miss - sometimes they replaced things someone's they did not - sometimes they cleaned things and sometimes they did not...? Better off having no housekeeping than having it so second rate I think. Location and price great!
Mrs Olga Prelic, August 2015: If I ever go back to London in summer, I will most certainly stay here again! A quite and safe neighbourhood, wonderful architecture, proximity of underground station and Hyde Park, a convenience store in the very building, abundant breakfast, view to the park - who could possibly ask for more! Great value for the money!
Mrs Irmgard Schmalix, August 2015:
Dr. audrey darraspen, August 2015:
Mr Colin Hartley, August 2015: Our basement room in Princes Gardens was very good - as have all rooms we have stayed at in this institution in the past been; quiet, clean and well appointed. This one, however, was too small for a double; any room where the bed has to be pushed up against a wall is too small for a double!
Mrs Andrea Jones, August 2015: My only complaint was the lumpy mattress and worn bedding. Everything else was fine.
Mr William Wyatt, August 2015: A very enjoyable stay. Breakfast cooked food could have been warmer. tended to be warm not hot. Coffee we found too strong for us. Minor points for consideration.
Mrs June Carter, August 2015: Unfortunately I had a bad experience with the plumbing in my room. The shower was too hot, when I turned it to a cooler temperature the water just dribbled out. Also the water was not leaving the shower tray which was another reason for not using the shower as it would have overflowed into the bathroom. Thank you for the tea and coffee making facilities but why are tea bags replaced but no milk? I have used the Imperial College before for my trip to London and enjoyed it immensely and will use it again for future trips.
Mrs Maureen Coosner, August 2015: Could not be in a better position. Enjoyed all the museums in the vicinity and Hyde Park. Easy walking distance.
Mr Brian Salt, August 2015: Overall a great experience. The only minor negative I can think of is that they had run out of roast of the day before 6pm on Sunday.
Mr Stephen MacDonald, August 2015: Great location and overall pretty good experience. Only comments:
Shower and wash hand basin took ages to drain away after use.
Lots of loud and unnecessary banging of room doors and shouting late at night when (presumably) summer school students came back from the pubs.
Mrs Vernette Low, August 2015: Great location. Basic but clean - it is student accommodation after all. Would definitely recommend
Mr John Swingler, August 2015: Staff managing reception were excellent - efficient and helpful.
Breakfast somewhat disappointing. No fried eggs only scrambled(which had been stood for too long and were over cooked), no black pudding - used to be, at least a couple of times a week, no Marmite!
Food was served onto cold plates. As some of the food was not very hot to start with, by the time you got to eat it was virtually cold.
Larger and more interesting range of real ale in the Westside bar would have been appreciated.
Mr Paul Almond, August 2015: We were just looking for cheap digs whilst working the week in London, this far surpassed all expectations of cheap digs, fantastic value, clean, comfortable with a gym and pool in a beautiful area, great breakfast can highly recommend.
Mrs Carol Warke, August 2015: Been before and enjoy being so central to things in London and having a hearty breakfast with interesting people.
Mr Paolo Belli, August 2015: It was great arriving in London and being so near to the V&A Museum and to the Science Museum. The location is wonderful.
Everything was OK , clean room, very kind staff, abundant breakfast / even if so unusual for our Italian tradition !!/
We already recommended your college to our Florentine friends
Mr Christian Kleinhempl, August 2015: Room was spacious enough for one person, clean (bed was made and wash basin cleaned every day, linen and towel exchanged twice a week) and on 2nd floor with a view to the park. Although it was directly located above the bar it was rather quiet. Mattress was uncomfortable on arrival but upon my complaint it was exchanged to a new one within a day. No TV or Radio in the room, but good WiFi. Used washing machine and drier once during my stay without a problem. 5 min walk to breakfast room, quality was ok (hey, it's not the Ritz). Less than 10 min walk to South Kensington tube station. Staff extremly friendly and supportive.
Mrs Catriona Finlayson, August 2015: I've used this site several times over the years for a few different halls, and always been impressed. This year I finally had time to get IC's breakfast and was even more impressed. However of the 3 rooms we took, my bed was not up to standard this time - at the head end it was extremely uncomfy and noisy with each spring being felt. We swapped ends and it was better but the other 2 beds in our group booking were fab. Huge thanks to all the staff who were brilliant as always.
Mrs Jeanette van Rixel, August 2015: My daughter liked the college feel/experience. Especially since we don't have student housing on campus in our country.
Miss Jasmine Marchant Koistinen, August 2015:
Mr Olafemi Olatunde, August 2015: The room was good and clean and had all necessary facility to keep one satisfied.
Mr Adrian Mellow, August 2015:
Mrs Tove Elander, August 2015: Very clean and fresh room. Communal areas clean and tidy. Check in staff very friendly, efficient and helpful. Breakfast very good but chaotic with no proper queues, so had to rudely push in to grab breakfast. Pool very good and a real bonus. I had a very pleasant stay and will happily stay again (and have recommended it to friends and family). Excellent value for money!
Mr John Ritchie, August 2015: I enjoyed my stay at Imperial College immensely. A nice room with two comfortable beds. The breakfast was really good with a great variety of food. I hope to stay there again in the future.
Mr Gregor Trimmel, August 2015:
Mr michael martin, August 2015: good
Mr Franco Antonini, August 2015: The room was good and priced right. The reception Staff could offer more information to the guests as to underground and bus lines serving the South Kensington area. London's not an easy city to navigate and a bit more help would have been appreciated.
Mr Rob Meredith-Barrett, August 2015: Unable to mark breakfast as I was unable to take breakfast as it starts at 7am and I needed to leave at 6.15am
Mr Stephen Cawley, August 2015: Generally very good
slight mix up with initial reception didnt give us the card for gym or meal vouchers....but we survived!
Mrs Karen King, August 2015: Friendly helpful staff who sorted a problem quickly and efficiently
Mr Roger Howard, August 2015:
Mr Stephen White, August 2015: Everything was excellent!!
Mr James Gowland, August 2015:
Mrs Pam Hallam, August 2015:
Miss Valida Reed, August 2015: Excellent service lovely room . Breakfast room too noisy and breakfast not very nice.
Mr James Moore, August 2015: Kettle was broken but other than that very good
Ms Amanda Peters, August 2015: Absolutely brilliant ,lovely staff lovely accommodation not a single fault ,I will stay time and time again thank you so much
Mr Christopher Chapman, August 2015: Excellent location and value for money - thank you
Mrs Karen Mornin, August 2015: The staff at the front desk were very good!
Mushrooms that morning were really bad and this from a non-fussy eater - my husband
Dr Viv Smith, August 2015: Frustrated by the internet log on system that kept dropping out and required guest login that would not allow the password to be changed. Also frustrated that the room windows cannot open properly. However, cleanliness was good and facilities readily accessible. Appreciated the ease of booking. Would readily recommend to others.
Miss Rose Chesterton, August 2015: We had a lovely stay apart from lots of noise at night. There was certainly a loud television blaring until 1 or 2 followed by a loud argument and much door slamming. It was also very noisy from about 5.30 with people leaving early.
Apart from this it was a great place to stay and we were well looked after. What a great location for somewhere to stay! Thank you.
Mrs Patricia Brons, August 2015: We were very happy with our stay in Prince's Garden. The room was very clean and well equipped. The breakfast was great. An address which I recommend.
Mrs R Moore, August 2015: Could have hot chocolate sachets in rooms for children rather than just tea/coffee
Mrs Vivien Pierce-Jones, August 2015: This is the second year we stopped here. It continues to be good value for the money. Try to avoid the basement rooms below the bar!
Miss Emily Anson, August 2015:
Mr Anthony Richardson, August 2015: Difficulties with room allocation made my check-in quite a long process but otherwise all was fine. I note that the wifi drops out quite often, but that has happened before. Not a big deal. Thanks again and back soon
Mr Jeremy Pidgeon, August 2015:
M. Derek Belton, August 2015:
Mrs Jean Williams, August 2015:
Mr David Lewis, August 2015: The coffee at breakfast could be better.
Mr Patrick Lynott, August 2015: Staff very welcoming, efficient and helpful. Accommodation and breakfast excellent - very clean, comfortable and well-appointed for its category. Location beautifully quiet though very central. Far exceeded our expectations! Definitely somewhere I would return to, and recommend to others.
Prof Gail McElroy, August 2015: The major attraction of this accommodation is the location. Fantastic for the Museums, Brompton Road and Royal Albert Hall in particular (a mere 5 minute walk to the Proms each evening). The rooms are quite modern and well appointed (relative to other student options in London), though as is the case with all similar accommodation the rooms are not spacious and are very hot and stuffy at night once the temperatures reach the mid twenties. The bottom line is that this is industrial scale room letting, the breakfast is in a vast, characterless canteen with hundreds in attendance. But overall the selling point is the great location and good value, especially for single travellers.
Ms Liz Adams, August 2015:
Mr Jeremy Strang, August 2015: very clean and modern room in a brilliant central location
Mrs Lisa Buck, August 2015:
Dr Susan Carrick, August 2015:
Mrs Susan Kotnik, August 2015: I always enjoy staying at the Imperial College Accommodations while in London. The centrality of the place and the excellent price for very good, clean services is why I choose here during any summer visits.
Mrs Rachel Howell, August 2015: I did not know what to expect but the room was smart, spotlessly clean and comfortable with great en-suite shower room. All the staff were helpful and friendly. Prince's Gardens is so convenient for South Kensington and there are plenty of restaurants a short walk away. Word of warning for less mobile people - South Ken tube is very close but there is a long underground walk to the actual station! Many thanks for a great stay.
Mrs Jo Percival, August 2015: Very professional setup. The room was very clean and comfy. The bed wasn't the softest but still comfortable. I've stayed in much worse hotels for more money.
Breakfast was cafeteria style and very busy but all the staff were very helpful and we didn't have to wait at all. There was a short walk to the cafeteria but it was a beautiful day so very pleasant but I imagine it wouldn't be so good if it were raining.
The security in the building was excellent all doors controlled by a key card. We only stayed to one night as we had a concert in the evening. The only small problem we has was we were hoping to eat at eastside bar but when we arrived they had a private party there so weren't serving food. We had to walk to High street Kensington to find a restaurant but only about 5 mins away.
Would definitely stay again if going to the proms in future and would also recommend it.
Mrs Fran Gillies-Denning, August 2015:
Mr David Alexander, August 2015: Decent rooms and prepared to a good standard. The mattress though wasn't great, I felt I could feel every steel spring and some were a lot firmer than others!
Dr Louise Carr, August 2015: Extremely pleased to have found such good value B&B close to the Albert Hall. Excellent price for high season. I hope to be back!
Mrs Jennifer Foakes, August 2015: Surprisingly quiet for the centre of London. Great location for prom goers.
Mr Dominic Devilliers, August 2015: Service excellent room was very good staff where so helpful it made my trip to London excellent I will book again:-)
Mr Colin Scofield, August 2015: The accommodation exceeded my expectations. Special praise for the staff who cleaned the rooms - high standard of cleanliness. Staff generally very helpful and friendly.
Mrs ZHANXIANG ZHAO, August 2015: The staying experience in Imperial College London is excellent. The room is neat and clean. The bed (double bed) is large and soft. Breakfast is excellent! There are gym, swimming pool and computers(at the receptions) available though I have no time to go swimming. There are three tube lines at South Kensington Station, so it is very convenient to go around London.
The booking website is time-consuming work and needs to be quicker and more friendly.
Miss Judith Turner, August 2015: Something nasty lurking in the toilet. Just needed another flush!
Otherwise room great, nice to have fresh air, nice and quiet no noise leakages from next door.
Swimming included was great. Only complaint about breakfast was that with voucher system you are not allowed to get cereal/fruit and then go back for cooked food. So with not very warm plates you had to down the cereal fast or get lukewarm food, especially toast. I know the logistics are difficult with so many people. Maybe have breakfast slots booked in advance. Only ordinary tea or earl grey.
Door entry system a bit confusing. Signage need to be clearer. esp for 2nd door to bedroom area. I imagine even more so for foreigners.
Mr cliff cook, August 2015: located in the heart of London convenient for visiting all main London attractions
downside no parking available even though there are parking spaces out side the accommodation most of which were empty during our stay.
Mr Yon Jai Kim, August 2015:
Mrs Graziella scarfò, August 2015: I would like to come back soon becouse also the last year was a beautiful experience
Mr Joachim Hood, August 2015:
Mr Kevin Saunders, August 2015:
Miss Margaret Clennett, August 2015: I would like the option of a slight reduction for opting out of breakfast/use of the gym. Staff at checkin and in the bar adjacent to the accommodation very friendly and helpful.
Mr Curtis Schroeder, July 2015: An excellent way to spend one night after attending a BBC Proms concert - would definitely use University Rooms again.
Mr JOSEFA RETAVE, July 2015: My room overview the gardens and it was a real pleasure to stay here again
Mrs ANN KENNETT, July 2015: Excellent will be back next year with friends.
Mrs Valma Cameron, July 2015: We had a lovely time at the Princes Garden. The room was well maintained, impeccably clean, kettle and tea was an added bonus. Bed was very comfortable. Clean sheets and towels were provided. The location was ideal.
Ms Barbara Teasdale, July 2015: Wifi was available in the room although the website said only an Ethernet connection would be available -- a happy surprise.
Mr david Myles, July 2015: Great Room for us , but if we were staying longer would have liked a view, but we were too tired both nights from London to notice the lack of a view.
Mrs Kathleen White, July 2015: We were very impressed with the cleanliness and general presentation of these buildings, lucky students who normally live there! A perfect place to stay when the Proms is on, we will definitely stay again.
Mr Christopher Graham-White, July 2015: Staff were exceptionally good in helping when I found I had accidentally booked the wrong night. Great service.
Mr Gordon Conochie, July 2015: The Imperial College was in an ideal situation for visiting tourist attractions and visiting central London. Staff were very helpful.
Mrs Barbara Whybrow, July 2015: Couldn't fault the whole experience. Made our concert night out so much easier and relaxing. Will use again.
Mrs Steffi Dikou, July 2015: It was a room in the Groundfloor with a wall outside the Window, wich is unfavorable for us as first-time visitors to Imperial College. The Service was friendly Student and perfect organized :-) Thank you
Mrs Jennifer Griffin, July 2015: The whole experience could not have been better. We were not expecting much from student accommodation and were pleasantly surprised
Ms Karin Kasper, July 2015: Overall a very good experience. I would stay there again. Thank you.
Ms Eavan O'Dochartaigh, July 2015: The room was quiet and clean, far better than my room in Beit Hall previously.
Mrs Joy Ottrey, July 2015: Great location with lovely friendly staff. We will certainly be staying again
Mr Keith Hannay, July 2015: Very well organised given the large number of guests while I was there.
Dr Jayne Krisjanous, July 2015: This is a fabulous place to stay. Coming from NZ where currency conversion disadvantages us Princes Gardens are really excellent value for money for what is was. We stayed here twice in the last month. One time for a week and then for a night before our flight home. Everything was really lovely and the location a real bonus. Would absolutely stay again. The only slight criticism was that the daily replacement of tea and coffee, toiletries could be a bit haphazard. However compensated by the office being open 24/7
Prof Frank Tough, July 2015: Great experience, 10AM check out is a little early.
Miss Corina Manuela Granzulea, July 2015: Great experience, will visit again whenever possible!
Mrs anita rudge, July 2015: good experience ideal location for museums and albert hall. only downside would be if it rained its quite a walk to breakfast but would definitely stay again
Mrs Janet Adams, July 2015: First stay here. Won't be the last - will recommend.
Mr Robert Williamson, July 2015: No loo roll on second night, but delivered quickly.
Why charge for Internet? Free in Premier Inn!
Mr Keith Bramall, July 2015: An all-round excellent experience. Thank you.
Mr Thomas Wickman, July 2015: Great deal! Thank you.
Miss Ella Reeves, July 2015: Very happy with the whole accommodation. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The accommodations standard beat some well known hotels I have stayed in. Very happy!
Dr Ruth Sandwell, July 2015: I had a very good stay at Prince's Gardens for a week while I was visiting London on business. The location is excellent, close to Hyde Park and many major museums (including the V&A, Natural History and the excellent Science Museum), and close to the South Kensington underground. I was in a building on the Prince's Gardens private square that the public is invited to use, and that green space was well used, but not over used. The general area and the residences felt safe and comfortable for me as a woman staying alone. There were lots of families, couples, single people and school groups staying there, so a very nice mixed crowd. The residence facilities were very good, with a 24 hr. concierge, a good, inexpensive restaurant and bar, and a well-equipped general store. The full English breakfast (included in the price and served from 7-10 daily) was located about a 5 minute walk away, and was very good. There was also an excellent athletic centre which I could have used, but I did not have time. My room was plain, but comfortable and clean. It had its own bathroom with shower, windows that opened to provide a draft, a fan, a comfortable bed and it overlooked an attractive courtyard. I appreciated the kettle, tea, instant coffee and milk provided, and the wifi (an additional 5 pounds sterling for the week). My only complaints were that when I switched to the second set of towels I had been given half way through the week, the staff would not remove the dirty ones - but I'm sure that would have been remedied if I had asked, as the staff were very accommodating and helpful overall. I used an unfamiliar server to book the residence, and was a little confused about exactly where I would be staying - but everything worked out just fine when I checked in. Overall, excellent value for money, and I had a very pleasant stay. I would definitely go back if traveling to London on business, or with my family for a holiday.
Ms Jane Rees, July 2015: Did not have to queue for check in. Friendly staff who signposted way to room. Fantastic location and good clean ensuite accomodation. As a solo traveller felt very safe. Room overlooking gardens on first floor. East side bar food and drink very reasonably priced and gym swimming pool included but too busy to use! Breakfast was a short walk across park and road but well signposted.Good to have tea/coffee facility in room with bottled water and toiletries. Very busy canteen style but good selection and ample food if you wanted. Will definitely return again. Have no hesitation in recommending!
Mr anthony davies, July 2015: Standard of service and welcome by all staff was excellent.
Dr Alan Baker, July 2015: For B & B experience this was good.
Mr Anthony Centeno, July 2015: Great value for money, nice breakfast and great location.
Mrs Ros Bamford, July 2015: Young man in reception check in was very helpful in finding and booking a taxi for us to get Euston in time for our train to Glasgow when the tube strike was on.
Mr D. Michael Edwards, July 2015: My sister lives on Prince Consort Road so you win on location, location, location! I did miss watching some of the Wimbledon matches without a TV but that's not really your fault. The only question I have is why aren't all your rooms filled all the time? Thank you.
Mr James Southgate, July 2015: After 20 years staying in budget hotels and other Uni accommodation over the summer, Prince's Gardens was a real gem and surpassed anything I have stayed in before. Clean, modern, great area and first class facilities. Gym and pool an amazing bonus.
Mr Tony Lawrence, July 2015: Very good overall I will use again
Mrs Veronika Koeper-Saul, July 2015: It's just a pity that this "hotel" (student halls) is only available over the summer.
A slight drawback of the website is that it does not give the exact postcode for these residences, which caused me a problem with ordering a taxi (turned out ok in the end, but why not just give the exact address?). Breakfast coffee has improved a little since last time I stayed, but is still a bit weakish. Nevertheless, for the price it's all very good indeed. Have already booked another stay.
Mrs Claudia SUAREZ VASQUEZ-GAPP, July 2015: For breakfast I was lucky I went before 8 - afterwards it would have been impossible, too crowded. In general a good option for expensive London
Mrs Phaedra Patrick, July 2015: Clean, basic and central. Friendly helpful staff. Provides exactly what it promises
Mr Adam Gordon, July 2015: Love staying at ICL. The thing I enjoy most is the atmosphere.
Miss Stephanie Nelson, July 2015: Fantastic accommodation and location. Will definitely come here again and would recommend to anyone. Everyone so helpful. The pool facilities and breakfast better than many hotels I have been in.

Fr. Sabina Duelli, July 2015: Very polite and helpful staff - nice and clean room - great location !
Ms Juliet Young, July 2015: I cannot rate the breakfast because I'm not a breakfast eater, so I didn't go. As for my room and the building itself, it was extremely pleasant.
Mr Anthony Woods, July 2015: Everything excellent - no complaints whatsoever!
Mrs Julia Powell, July 2015: Staff were absolutely wonderful. Friendly smiles and comments from those that we had asked for help too. Great atmosphere. Felt really safe. Clean and tidy rooms and great location.
Mrs Irena Clarke, July 2015: I will definitely be coming here whenever I am in London! The room, single with en suite, is perfect, very clean,tea/coffee, even washing items and towel. And the breakfast!! Fantastic, yes, a little walk so if raining maybe some might mind...but for such a fantastic breakfast, irs worth it. There was a fully cooked [which I do'nt eat] but lookded wonderful, toast, coffee, juice, cereal. And the service especially as so busy was wonderful they all work so hard but are polite and friendly and very helpful.
Very nice area, I chose it as near to the Polish War Musuem, its very safe to walk around late with nice gardens that can be used by the public [those who know its there] and a little shop that sells everything! and not overpriced!
I cannot recommend this place enough...but maybe I shouldnt or next time they might be fully booked!!
Thank you to everyne there, brilliant job and well done!
Ms Nicole Ptinis, November 2014: Excellent experience and would stay again. House keeping could be better: shelves very dusty with items left behind by past guests. State of repair could be better, lamps not working, items in the room broken. Bedding and washroom were clean, areas like desk were clean. Safe secure building in a great neighbourhood. Overall excellent value for money and experience. Staff handled high volume crowds with grace and kindness which was not always returned by some guests. Excellent customer service. Staff went out of their way every single time to make it an exceptional stay.
Mrs Shirley Leslie, October 2014: Certainly consider as first choice to use again
Ms Lois Stadt, October 2014: Were not told that room had no view and was below ground-level, otherwise, room was OK and bath was larger than expected. Location
of building was ideal for V&A and Natural History museums - don't miss
either; breakfasts were great, and building-grocery was very good with
especially helpful and friendly clerks, I am recommending Imperial College
post-summer session housing at Imperial College!
especially the clerks
Ms Vivian Hoepfner, October 2014: Great experience: room very clean, well-equipped. Location: safe, a lot of cafés, shops etc., very close to Hyde Park. Unfortunately it's not available the entire year :-)
Mr James Stopford, September 2014: Staff were really helpful (I had a few connection problems with the internet), the room was cleaned daily, breakfast was really good value, the gym facilities were also excellent as was the location. I think the only downside is the early checkout but this is such a minor detail that it didn't affect my stay.
Mrs anne campbell, September 2014: rooms were very clean and very helpful staff....excellent value for money.. we will book again
Mr Kenneth Jolly, September 2014: excellent accommidation for what it is. I had the best experience for public accommodation at IMPERIAL COLLEGE ever. I cannot sing their praises high enough. A very satisfying experience. Will do it again.

Mr Damian West, September 2014: Nice hotel in a great location at a great price, would definitely stay again.
Mrs Anne-Marie Armstrong, September 2014: Very good altogether, except for breakfast. Will use it again. AMA
Dr Ronald Parkin, September 2014: The accommodation in Prince's Gardens is located in a quiet square yet only minutes away from the three main South Kensington museums. All in all, a very enjoyable stay that I hope to repeat. Thank you.
Mrs Louise Wheatcroft, September 2014: Very good value and very well located.
Mrs Harriet Goepfert, September 2014: I only wish that these rooms were available more often during the year!
Mr Paul Murray, September 2014: For the price and location it is excellent, will definately stay again
Mrs Pat Beattie, September 2014: The layout and cleanliness of our room was exceptional.
One improvement needed is to increase staff levels to deal with the volume of check-ins. There were always very long queues at the enquiries desk.
Mr Michael Pugh, September 2014: Excellent. Quiet, clean, perfect!
Mr Robert Scott, September 2014: We went to concert at Albert Hall. Couldnt be more convenient. Ace

Mr Anthony Richardson, September 2014: Really nice stay again - wish it could be all year !! :)
Fr.
M. Pierre Vincent, September 2014: Very good moment!
Mrs Janet Hellberg, September 2014: THE ROOM WAS BASIC BUT CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE. THE ONLY DOWNFALL WAS THAT WE HAD TO WALK SEVERAL STREETS AWAY TO GET BREAKFAST

Miss Yvonne Wiggan, September 2014: Excellent throughout love this place

Mrs Hilary Cullingford, September 2014: We had a very enjoyable stay. The room was very clean, the staff friendly and we were in a superb location. Only complaint is that for 2 middle aged adults the 'double' bed was on the small side!
Ms JUDITH HOOK, September 2014: A basic room but convenient for a couple of days in London. The breakfast wasn't bad and the staff were very kind and friendly. It was nice to have all the extras of a hotel (shampoo, kettle, coffee and tea).
Prof Elizabeth Leahy, September 2014: This was my first stay - but not my last. I would especially like to give kudos to the marvelous student staff working at the front desks and on the cleaning details. Thank you.
Mr Peter Jewitt, September 2014: We shall certainly go again
M. gautier kalmes, September 2014: Points positifs:
Lieu et chambre très calmes, petit déjeuner correct,
Pas de TV, pas de tapis de bain, pas de sèche cheveux disponible,
Ms Verena Mattes, September 2014: We stayed for 3 nights at Prince's Gardens and enjoyed it very much. Rooms were furnished to a good standard and very clean, all in a safe and very quiet area with the next tube station only a short walk away. While the breakfast room was quite crowded, the staff there were very efficient and the food varied and plenty. I can definitely recommend a stay here and will look at Prince's Gardens for future stays in London.

Ms Iza Herman, September 2014: The best place to stay in London. I will recomend it to all of my friends. I've been in London before, but this is far the best place I've ever stayed in. I am very happy that I found Prince's Gardens and I will come back soon for sure.

Mr Richard Whitaker, September 2014: Great place for the basics. No TV and none of the usual hotel fluffery. But the sports facility and breakfast were free. At my "up market" hotel the week before, my room was tiny and I couldn't swim at the hotel or anywhere near. Keep me on your list.

Mr Donald L Barnett, August 2014: Prince's Gardens is at Imperial College London, an excellent, beautiful facility in a wonderful location. Would prefer better selection of breakfast cereals and less fat in the cooked items.
Mrs Jane Shillam, August 2014: Good, helpful check-in staff.
An excellent quiet room as requested
Dr Horst-Moritz Maus, August 2014: I stayed at Princes Gardens, and this is certainly a very good place to stay in London, if you prefer low prices over comfort (e.g. shared shower and toilet). I don't give "excellent" on the overall value for money because London is in general ridiculously expensive, so the "good" actually means "for London, it's actually excellent".
The location is excellent: very close to Hyde Park, subway 10 mins, convenience store and pub in front of the building, and free gym & swim directly at this location as well.
I stayed there twice; the first one was the best accommodation I had in London (out of ~8), the second time I had some minor problems.
Mr Helmut Niessner, August 2014: We were really satisfied with the room we got. It was clean and all things were working properly. No complaints.
The staff was really helpful.
Miss Alexis Cairns, August 2014: Prince's Gardens was the ideal accommodation for my recent trip to London. The cost per night was very reasonable and the location was perfect. My room in Weeks Hall was pleasantly spacious and I felt safe staying there on my own. I'm already thinking about booking Prince's Garden next summer! 5/5.
Mrs Pat Horn, August 2014: A really great stay......Weeks Hall.....no en-suite bathroom with my room but there was a toilet and shower just across the corridor..... everything spotlessly clean and comfortable.....Only found the kitchen when leaving where there was a supply of coffee, tea, etc together and all the facilities for self catering......Such tremendous value for money and a service of which the providers can be proud. A superb location within walking distance of world-class museums, the Royal Albert Hall etc....and access to trains, underground, buses etc.
Mrs Sally Strutt, August 2014: This was a very good experience and an ideal way to stay in the heart of London safely, comfortably and at a reasonable price. Thank you!
Mr paul bates, August 2014: Disappointed to be in the basement. The room was small for the double bed. Otherwise everything fine, especially the location which was excellent for Museums and the Royal Albert Hall.
Mrs Tina Cullen, August 2014: Excellent location for what I had planned. Room was spotlessly clean, spacious and comfortable with a lovely view over Princes Gardens. I've stayed in much worse hotels and would stay here again.
Ms Mary Collins, August 2014: The location simply can't be beat - only downside - the eggs were not great at breskfast - but overall the breakfast was big and there were nutritious choices. We had trouble initially with the wifi codes but the desk staff was happy to help we used the hot tub and swimming pool at the gym. Definitely a bslue added factor. I would stay there again if I had the choice
and would definitely recommend it to other travelers thank you for making it available.
Miss Caroline Friend, August 2014: Helpful, friendly and efficient staff. Room was perfect for our needs. Enjoyed using the swimming pool. the Eastside restaurant and bar was very good value for money.
Mrs Carol Rubini, August 2014: An excellent venue for our weekend in London. Facilities were clean and well managed.
However breakfast was disappointing - food was cold and organisation was chaotic - due to conference delegates
Mrs Angela Eggleton, August 2014: We always enjoy our stays at Imperial College, the value for money is amazing. This time we had a large fourth floor room, masses of space, the best ever! Only slight downside, it was near the bar, and with the windows open the noise from it carried on into the early hours. Breakfast very good as usual, difficult to solve problem of cooked food getting cold while one eats fruit salad or cereal, but we didn't mind!
Ms Sandra Bishop, August 2014: I also stayed 11th - 15th and it also was excellent.
Mr Rob Carroll, August 2014: Great location, great Customer experience. Great value for Money.
Only downside was the Mattress was not great and slept otherway about due to poor springing. I suggest you check out?

Mrs Elizabeth Meredith, August 2014: The holiday accommodation was first class and I am looking forward to returning soon.

Mrs Anne Celnick, August 2014: good checking in process helpful staff. Room clean and what to be expected of student accommodation but hated the shower with fixed head - maybe OK for tall person. Can't remember room number.
Mr Luke Unsworth, August 2014: Comfortable, clean accommodation in a fantastic position for the museums all at great price.
Miss Taylor Rogers, July 2014: Great location. Very clean and excellent service!

Miss Rawan Lashin, July 2014: That would definitly be my number one place to stay in london when I come again. It was my very first visit to London and This stay made it comfortable for sure.
Mr MARTIN EGGLETON, July 2014: Great price, great location, breakfast was a bit bonkers (how can bacon that has just come out from under warming lights be as cold as if it has just come out of a fridge - defies physics to me) but the overall experience was definitely value for money.
Mrs Penny Cramphorn, July 2014: Will use again
Miss Lisa Gardner, July 2014: standard of room, friendliness of staff, facilities all excellent as it was when I stayed at Princes Gardens previously. This time I am also pleased to say that information has improved- eg where to find reception, opening times of shop etc. This is a very welcome improvement- makes things simpler. Thank you all for a lovely break.

M. Laurent DUTERTRE, July 2014: localisation, site et accueil excellent
Ms Elizabeth Janicki, July 2014: Great stay! Staff called when I overslept my alarm and almost missed my taxi to the airport- was a lifesaver!
Mr Nigel Cradock, July 2014: The bed was a little hard. There is a gap between the edge of the curtain and the window so that the light shines in onto the bed. WiFi charge is unreasonable when so many cafes offer free WiFi.
Overall, the room is a good size, clean and reasonably quiet and the location is excellent.
Mrs Eugenia Corvera, July 2014: Overll it has been very nice experience. Great location, nice staff. A fridge and a hair dryer could be useful in the rooms. I think towels should be changed daily.
Mrs Dinah Masters, July 2014: Very conveniently situated and very friendly staff. Overall a very pleasant stay.
Mr ken waite, July 2014: I booked through an agency this time. (Have stayed 4 times in the past 30 odd years and have seen many changes.). Room was lower ground and fine.
Possibly the option to choose from a room plan would be good. Overall good value.
Ms Mary Ann McNiece, July 2014: I would definitely do this again & recommend it to others.
Mrs Kelly Rennie, July 2014: The only things which could be improved were that the bed was a bit uncomfortable and that it was a bit of a walk to breakfast. However, given the fact that this was university accomodation, really well priced and in a fantastic location, this definitely wouldn't stop me booking again. (in fact, I'm now thinking of investigating whether they offer 2 room apartments so I can come back with the kids!)
Also - I was really impressed with how clean the room was - of a much higher standards than many hotels I have stayed in. And power sockets next to the bed! Brilliant when you rely on your mobile phone as an alarm clock! Why don't all hotels have this?
Mrs PAOLA-MARIA CALEFFI, July 2014: I loved the location! The room was very clean and quiet. I had problems with the Internet connection, but the staff members were very helpful. I definitely recommend it!
Dr George Sergi, July 2014: Overall better than I expected. Good breakfast selection.
Mr Mathieu Fiset, July 2014: I had a very good experience at this hotel. Good price, excellent breakfasts and nice room. If I go back to London I will certainly try to go back in this hotel.
Mr Jordan Newell, July 2014: Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Excellent level of cleanliness. Could have done with some form of food avaliable on site - vending machines etc
Mrs Christine Freeman, July 2014: We were absolutely delighted with our stay. Wonderful location, reception efficient and helpful. Rooms great with all the extras included that I had not expected i.e., water, tea making stuff, shampoo etc, tissues, daily room making up. Very quiet. Lots of amenities we did not have time to use. The shop was useful.
I will be recommending whole heartedly.
Mr Ben Harris, July 2014: Fantasic value for a central London location.
Dr Raja Rani Titti, July 2014: Mr.Sohail has done an excellent job. Thanks a lot for your service.
Miss Lynne Flory, July 2014: Amazingly simple booking process, fast and easy check in. Rooms very clean and minimal but comfortable. No trouble finding the food hall as lots of students and staff helpful in giving directions along the way but not really necessary as it's a short walk, really good value breakfast. Will definitely stay again. Only one criticism and that was finding the part of the website to book could have been easier. Wish I'd known about this for previous visits. Perfect location for Natural History Museum, Science Museum, Albert Hall and Earls Court within ten minute walk. Excellent restaurants and cafés on campus. Princes Garden a real treat. Thank you.
Mr John Smestad, Jr., July 2014: This was my third stay at Imperial College and I remain very satisfied.
Mrs Elizabeth Abraham-Thomas, July 2014: excellent location. clean room.
Dr HILARY RENSON, July 2014: great value for money, clean and comfortable,10 mins from V&A!!
Mrs carolyn greer walker, July 2014: Charming very busy staff, perfectly adequate small room, lovely gardens to enjoy, also pool facilities. Vast breakfast hall with vast numbers of people, they did their best in circumstances. Fuel rather than a pleasant experience!
Mr Seth Richardson, September 2013: Prince's Gardens was exactly what I needed for my stay in London. I made use of most ammenities; Ethos Rec Centre, Breakfast and the pub was very affordable. I will stay here next time Im in London for sure. Proximity to everything I wanted to see and do. Thanks.
Mr HUGH CUMMINS, September 2013: Very convenient location .Helpful staff.
Mrs Julia Hogg, September 2013: Puts some budget accommodation to shame, first visit in a University room but won't be the last as we were very impressed.
If we had to recommend any improvement it would only be perhaps the possibility of free WiFi !!! Keep up the great standards.
Ms Marie alice Arnold, September 2013: Loved it. Thank you.
Ms janet reuter, September 2013: I would like to add that the reception staff were very friendly and most efficient. it is always a very nice place to stay and I shall be back again next year with a group of about 30 ladies!
Mr Jean-Philippe DUMARCAY, September 2013: the room was really quiet (last level - the fifth in the wilkinson building") even if there was a small kitchen near with a TV set in the nearest room: but there was absolutely no noise, so really a great place and well located.
The only probleme I experimented. The day I left the London Imperial College there was no possibility to let my lugage after 12:00 pm. So I had to bring my luggage with me within london (shop/museum) till my departure at 18h00 pm.
Otherwise, I will recommend this place.
Miss Alison Hogg, September 2013: Excellent accommodation in a nice area and at a very reasonable price. Close to transport and museums/galleries. Delicious breakfasts.
Reception staff very helpful, polite and knowledgeable.
Mrs ELENA SAGALAEVA, September 2013: Excellent value for money we paid. Central location. Very quiet
Mrs Caroline Shimmin, September 2013: Very good value for money and excellent location. Would have paid much for a hotel! Will definitely be staying again.
Miss Sarah Holland, September 2013: Excellent location and very hospitable.
Overall standard of breakfast was good but choice and quality of cereals could be improved.

Mr mark verlinden, September 2013: You cannot fault the value for money of this accommodation. We have been twice and will definitely come again. The location is superb, the rooms were spotlessly clean and had what you needed for a short break. Overall excellent
Ms Jelena Gledic, September 2013: Excellent location and service. In the heart of the museum district, and within minutes of Hyde Park. Room is relatively small, but larger than most single rooms I've stayed in in central London for triple the price. Free internet would be great, but otherwise perfect!
Ms Kasandra O'connell, September 2013: Was very good, very clean and helpful staff.
Miss Federica Invernizzi, September 2013: Excellent value for money! Such a pity that's only available during Summer!
Mrs Rita Sadler, September 2013: staying at Princes Gardens exceeded my expectations. Fantastic value and a delightful surprise. My thoughts to improve the experience would be to print a clearer map to find the refectory for breakfast. It was impossible to read the tiny print and it was an interesting walk through the college buildings.
Mr Anthony Agnew, September 2013: Absolutely first class.
Mrs Jane Kilsby, September 2013: We found the staff very polite and helpful.
Enjoyable stay and very good value.
Mrs Rosalind Goldman, September 2013: Great place to stay in London!
Mr Paul Levy, September 2013: Perfect location, pub meal was great value, and staff were very friendly. A great way to stay in London. Thank you.
Ms Sarah Littlejohn, September 2013: excellent in every way. Unbelievable location
Mr Manuel Gomez Garcia, September 2013: The room, a double room with single occupation, was neat clean, new and the space available was pretty well organized. The bathroom was clean and appropiate, the only complaint is the lack of a movable head shower, which would be useful. The personal was kind and helpful. The place is perfect, near everything, and the area is quite calm and in front the hotel there is a nice garden with trees and grass which gives a touch of green and freshness. I like it, so I would probably book again there in a future visit to London
Mr James Dawson, September 2013: It was the last week before students returned and so last week of value for money accommodation in London. Till next summer then!
Dr Christine ruffert, September 2013: the staff is very nice and helpful!
Mr Nader Al-Qazzaz, September 2013: Overall a good option for staying in London.
Mrs Adriane Doms, September 2013: It was good and I liked it very much. Rooms were very clean and that was all o.k. Breakfast was good and allthough so many people come to have breakfast, I never had to wait very long. Good logistic. Thanks hope to come back again.
Mrs Gillian Crosland, September 2013: Was concerned about having to share toilet/shower with other rooms - but it was no problem, and we were fine in Weeks Hall, and would happily stay there again. (We stayed in Eastside and Southside, in 2010 & 2011).
Miss Angela Campbell, September 2013: Great staff , quick and efficient checkin/out despite being very busy with hundreds of tri-athletes! Rooms are excellent value, in a lovely and convenient location. Breakfast is very good. This is the 3rd time I have stated at Imperial and it won't be the last - I have recommended you to many friends.
Mr William Brookes, September 2013: Overall we were very pleased with the accommodation which was extremely well situated near Hyde Park where we wished to see our daughter compete. The beds were comfortable ( I could have done with an extra pillow) and we had everything we needed. Room 36 was a bit noisy in the morning with traffic and even horses passing by. We would stay again.
Mr James Joyce, September 2013: Second time we have stayed to visit the Proms. Very pleased with facilities.
Mrs Janet Bultitude, September 2013: A very clean, comfortable, secure and convenient place to stay in London. I will certainly use these facilities again.
Mrs Carol Gregg, September 2013: We got a twin disabled room (although not disabled ourselves). Loads of room with two separate sleeping areas in one and a wet room shower (no TV but we would not of used one). Spotlessly clean with all the room facilities of a 4 star hotel. The University setting was safe, historic and location smart and interesting with Hyde Park a short walk away. Breakfast was plentiful - cooking on a large scale so not excellent. Will recommend and come again. Well done to the staff.
Mrs Patricia Squires, September 2013: Very well located for many attractions, but we attended an event at the Royal Albert which is very close by. We needed to get away early on Monday and were pleasantly surprised by the quality and full availability (7AM) of the breakfast. It may be worth mentioning on your website that although you do not offer parking, there is disabled/blue card parking available nearby, which was a big relief to us.
Mr Charles McLaughlin, September 2013: Good location and rooms just what we needed. Reception staff very helpful.
Mrs Jane Collier, September 2013: Pillows too flat ! Needed the 2 provided.

Mr Julian Carpenter, September 2013: Will use again when visiting London
Mrs Karolina Kula, September 2013: This is a really fantastic accomodation in London. It's a short walk from South Kensington Underground Station so it's easy to get everywhere. The area is very safe. The staff are friendly and helpful. A traditional English breakfast is included in the price of the room. It is served in another building on campus but it takes only 3 minutes to get there. That's why it's not a problem. The breakfast is tasty. I was given single ensuite room on the second floor in Gabor Hall. The room was clean and comfortable. The best thing was that it enjoys views over leafy Prince's Gardens. In my opinion, the only disadvantage of the Imperial's student halls of residence is that they are available to the public only from June to September. Anyway, I highly recommend Prince's Gardens. I'll definitely stay there next holiday.
Mr Juba Messamah, September 2013: I loved my stay at Prince's Garden. The room was comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. It was my first time in London, and this stay has helped to make it more enjoyable. 5 points!

Miss SIEW SIEW TAN, September 2013: Great location. Front desk staff are very helpful and friendly. When we complaint the room was hot, they gave an extra fan. The laundry facility was good too as i no need to bring so many cloths. It will be great if small packet of washing powder is available for sale.
Mrs Donna Davies, September 2013: The accommodation, location and general amenity of Prince's Gardens can not be faulted. We had a great time without it costing us a whole pile of Aussie Dollars
Mrs Christine Stockton, September 2013: Wonderful location, very quiet and with benefit of the garden in the square. Eastside Bar has nice atmosphere and friendly staff.
Problems connecting onto wifi - very intermittent service, rarely available and then after midnight! so £5 seemed over priced.
Senior Common Room crowded for breakfast - but was a nice atmosphere and everyone very helpful.
But otherwise very good value.
Mr Peter Hamlett, September 2013: Excellent ambience; pleasant surroundings and very quiet particularly considering location which was especially good for concert at Royal Albert Hall. Eastside Diner part of block in which our room was situate so could not have been more convenient. Breakfast food was good but all so very busy! Even so would definitely recommend and consider returning ourselves if in London (which is not at all often these days)

Ms Liz Rafferty, September 2013: We had a very pleasant stay and the staff were extremely helpful and polite.
Mr Andy Genney, September 2013: Definitely be looking to use Princes Gardens again. Excellent value facilities. A stone's throw from museums, Hyde Park and Knightsbridge shops. Everywhere else we needed to be was no more than a couple of tube stops away.

Mr Chris Cooper, August 2013: Excellent location, very helpful and friendly staff

Ms Jane Thurley, August 2013: great location, nice and quiet apart from nearby renovation work (weekday). lots to do without using public transport, public transport very accessible. Far more breakfast than most require but great to have the choice, can be a bit of a crush in the food hall with large groups arriving on mass.
daily service in the rooms, always clean and tidy. plenty of space. defiantly a place to come back to.

Mr Steffen Leonhardt, August 2013: It was a nice experience. If we come again to London for summer vacation, we will definitely reconsider booking the dorms in Prince's Gardens, South Kensington if possible and available.
Except for the swimming pool, our children (aged 9 and 11 years) were not allowed to use any of the sport equipment in Ethos. They would have loved to play badminton or use the jacuzzi.

Miss Lois Brooks, August 2013: I had an excellent time staying in Princes Gardens. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I am a wheelchair user and I found the accessible room and ensuite bathroom excellent. We had a very spacious room with tea and coffee making facilities too. The only disturbing aspect was the bed nearest the door meant that the occupant was sometimes kept awake or wakened by doors banging outside the room. Maybe a change of layout could solve that issue. Overall, however, we had an excellent stay. The shop and bar nearby were very good value and well stocked. The location in Prince's Gardens is peaceful yet near all the busy areas. I used the buses at the top of the road and had no problems regarding wheelchair access. I hope to be back next year.

Even the bed linen was noticeably better. I really appreciated the unexpected touches eg the large electric fan keeping the room cool when I arrived, the bottle of mineral water in my room and the tray of coffee/tea sachets etc in the communal kitchen. The reception staff were very efficient and friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Ms Laura Eide, August 2013: Although I only stayed at Prince's Garden's one night, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend it to others. The location was great. The check in/out process was quick and efficient, the room was clean and had everything I needed, and the luggage storage service was invaluable. There was some noise at the restaurant below me and I worried that this would be a problem in the evening, but by the time I got in at 10:45 pm the restaurant had closed and the revelers dispersed, so it was not an issue.
Miss Nicole Mowbray, August 2013: Super! Thank you- I will be recommending you to MANY others- I just found your accommodation by accident by searching on the web!
Mrs PAMELA TOPHAM, August 2013: perfect place to stay, very quiet road and right next to the V & A and the Natural History and Science Museums.

Mr Timothy Gallagher, July 2013: Fantastic experience which I would repeat if given the opportunity. Zero complaints, and many positive surprises.
Dr John Whitton, July 2013: First overnight stay at Imperial and had a very pleasant experience. Check in staff excellent - a credit to the University. Only tip I would give is that you try to locate business visitors at a distance from the ground floor bar - most of us are earlier to bed and much earlier to rise than the majority of your visitors I would guess. Would consider staying again though. Thank you.

Mr David Royle, November 2012: Location is fantastic, great to have a laundry and iron available.
My only complaint is that it is a shame that you can't open the door to go out onto the little balcony (but I understand that there are safety regs)
Mrs susan horton, October 2012: Spent one night at Princes garden in September 2012 with my 8 year old granddaughter. Were both thrilled at the accomodation which seemed to be recently built.Ensuite roomy and really clean. Although we were accomodated in the basement didnt feel at all dark or claustrophobic. Had a meal at the restaurant at the end of our block. Had plenty of choice and was really good value for money. Have promised granddaughter to take her here again next year. She particularly enjoyed having breakfast in the university building. Couldnt fault anything at all.

Mrs Marie-Odile MELLADO, September 2012: No comment. Very nice location, friendly welcome. My best adress in London.
Prof Wyn Williams, September 2012: Rooms were very nice, clean and well presented. The cost was not so much less than what I might may for a discounted London hotel, but the location was good - particularly as I was there for work on a collaborative project with IC staff.
Mrs Ann Hammond, September 2012: Receptionist responded very well to my request to have an elevated room instead of basement. I was very happy for one night. I will come again, thank you
Mrs Jenny Walsh, September 2012: My reason for using the accomodation was to attend a Prom concert. Ideal location, clean and comfortable room - more than I'd expected for ui accomodation. Excellent facilities - used the pool and took evening meal in the college bar/restaurant. Very impressed, Even though I had to book a double room for single use I thought it good value for London. I'll be back and have already recommended to friends. Well done.

Miss Sinead Cartwright, August 2012: I would recommend these facilities
Mr Roy Todd, August 2012: The new facilities were very good. I was particularly impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the reception staff. When I hope to stay again I would like to stay in Prince's Gardens rather than Beit Hall.

Mrs SALLY MCINNES-GIBBONS, July 2012: GOOD VALUE STAY IN FANTASTIC LOCATION.
Ms Constanze Chen, July 2012: Extremely close to Science, Natural History, V&A Museums, and South Kensington tube station. Facilities are well-kept, modern, and the grounds are quiet and tranquil. Restaurant food is less than desirable so I would suggest taking your meals elsewhere.
Mrs Aleyna Roberts, July 2012: Efficient and polite check in & out. Huge breakfast! Room was bigger and better equipped than anticipated. Nice quiet but convenient location. Thank you!
Ms Yvonne Alton, July 2012: An excellent location and very good facilities.
Would have appreciated more detail of how to find South side reception from the South Kensington tube tunnel exit on Exhibition Road. The info and map provided by the university was useful, but directions added in the info would also have been helpful.
Reception staff most helpful and friendly.
Mr Archy Muir, July 2012: Once again the Imperial College staff were both friendly and helpful, could not ask for more from my stay, will be returning again! Accommodation was very clean and we got a great sleep. Breakfast was delicious too.
Ms Claire McAvinia, July 2012: Thank you for a great stay in a brilliant location. A real find, I will be telling my friends! In particular, inclusion of breakfast makes a lovely change from all the hotels charging separately - and breakfast was fantastic! Great value and a great place.
Ms Elizabeth Maertin, October 2011: I would highly recommend the booking service and accommodation to anyone travelling to London on a budget.
Mrs Georgina Whyte, October 2011: Very happy with accommodation.Excellent location. Will happily return when visiting London, possibly Sept.2012 and recommending to friends.
Mrs Fran Hutchinson, September 2011: We were pleasantly surprised by this accomodation. The rooms were quite small but well fitted out with a good bed and bathroom. The location couldn't be better - just a walk around the corner to the Science Museum. The staff were very professional and helpful.
Ms Margaret Schally, September 2011: We found the Imperial College at Princes Gardens to be quite comfortable, clean, and easily accessible for getting around London. Mr peter eggins, September 2011: This is a excellent place to stay for the museums of london. The room was very clean and of a fair size. The only minor complaint was that we did not know that the kitchen was closed and wasted some food we had brought with us. Will stay again
Mr Kenny Weir, September 2011: As a full time wheelchair user, I would highly recommend this campus. Easy to get to by bus, pavements no problem and staff helpful
Ms Elizabeth Reilly, September 2011: I found my room to be more than I expected. It was modern, clean and tidy with nice amenities, including a kettle for tea in the morning, as well as shower gel and shampoo. I especially enjoyed looking out on Princes Gardens. Mr David Williams, September 2011: We were very pleasantly surprised with the accommodation - and it was so convenient. We will certainly return
Mrs Doreen Ritchie, August 2011: This was our 3rd stay at Imperial College. As we were visiting the Proms the location is perfect. Have recommended it to other friends who have enjoyed their stay.
Ms Ruth Chidambaram, August 2011: I visited with my two teenage children. As we left we were already planning to visit again. Prince's Gardens is central for many attractions (we walked to the Science Museum, Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park and Buckingham Palace during our two night stay). It was a good opportunity for the children to get a taste of this great university and broaden their horizons.
Miss Karen Thorburn, August 2011: The only drawback was no hairdryer in the room, otherwise, great stay in a beautiful location!
Mrs Maureen Thomson, August 2011: This is the first time I have stayed in university accommodation and I would definitely do it again. The accommodation, while basic, exceeded my expectations; it was very clean and provided everything I needed during my stay; the baggage storage at the end of my stay was a real bonus as I did not have to carry my luggage around with me. The staff on the check in/out were extremely efficient, friendly and helpful; the
location convenient and the room rate was real value for money.
Prof William Owen, August 2011: As expected, given that this is a student housing facility during the academic year, the room was somewhat small but it was very clean, comfortable and well-equipped (no TV but I didn't miss that). This was my second visit (I stayed there last year, too) and I returned because the combination of comfort, location and price is unbeatable.
Mrs Alessandra Galimberti, August 2011: It 'was a really nice experience, we were good and we enjoyed it very much. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast very good.
Thanks for everything!
Mrs ILARIA RENZI, August 2011: Great stay at Princes Gardens. Rooms are small but confortable and clean. Breakfast rich. Very nice receptionist.

Mrs Claudia Lischke-Arzt, July 2011: Very friendly service people.
Mr Tamás Polyák, July 2011: We had a very nice stay in Princes Gardens.
Clare Gartner, October 2010: Imperial College Rooms offers the traveller excellent clean quiet accomodation right in London. it is extremely close to the South Kensington Underground station and the other advantage to the traveller is people can walk with their luggage ( when needed) in the underground tunnel which saves croosing very busy roads! Also the washing and drying facilities are very good as we found washing clothes difficult or very expensive in all of England and Ireland too. Reception is open 24 7 which is good and reliable Internet service!
Catherine Fraser, October 2010: A little confusion initally about the booking but sorted quickly.
Loved the location - laundry very handy and good value
Barbara Milner, October 2010: The location was great and the cost. Very comfortable.
Sara Konopinska, October 2010: GREAT LOCATION
Louise Kirby, September 2010: Lovely surrounding area, just what i needed. Nice and clean.
Richard Clifford, September 2010: Great staff on Reception. Imperial campus really impressive.
Ana Juracic, September 2010: The room was nice and clean with new furnitures in a green and quite area only few minutes away from the tube station. The biggest problem was that sometimes housekeeper didn't leave shampoo or shower gel in the room. Breakfast wast very tasty, I'll miss it...All in all I would definitely reccomend it...
Elizabeth and Peter Matthews, September 2010: Cambridge and Imperial (London) staff always most helpful.
Would definitely stay again and recommend them to friends.
Mr Paul Ferguson, September 2010: Felt very comfortable here, stayed for the one night just, room was clean and had everything that i needed, couldnt have asked for more from the breakfast in the morning, catered for every tastebud! all in all made an excellent weekend even better.

John Bolitho and Anne Barlow, September 2010: We so enjoyed our stay. Staff helpful and friendly. Rooms immaculate and cosy. Convenient location. Reasonably priced. Overall hard to beat.
More emotionally my grandfather was an Imperial College graduate and this was a lovely link to him too. So thanks for a brilliant time. John & Anne Bolitho
peter cummins, September 2010: We stayed at Imperial College for 2 nights in September. To be honest I wasn't expecting much for the price we paid and the fact the they are student rooms. We were pleasantly surprised. The location with a small park in front was an oasis of peace away from the bustle of London streets. The reception was bright, clean and very contemporary. The staff were very helpful and we were able to leave our cases there until the room was available. The rooms were a short walk across the road. The building was modern and spotlessly clean.Access was by electronic card. The rooms were clean and bright and the ensuite was excellent. The only gripe was that there was only one pillow each.
Breakfast was about a 5 minute walk across the main road in the university campus. The campus was very modern clean and attractive. There were quite long queues for breakfast but the service was fast and efficient. The first day the full english was cold by the time we found a seat. The trick is to eat the full english first then cereals. There is a good choice of cereals and up to 6 items permitted for the english.A good range of hot beverages from a machine.Unfortunately the fruit juice wasn't very nice it wasn't fresh juice but a concentrate.
There is a bar on the ground floor of the accomodation so it could be noisy if your room was above it.Drinks and food were below London prices. You need to get there early if your want to eat as when we arrived all the seats were taken. Its popular.
The location is ideal for exploring London.5 mins from the Science museum.10 mins from V&A and Natural History.About 20minutes walk to Harrods.Royal Albert Hall nearby. The tube is about 20 minutes walk away and about a 30 minute ride to central London.Good restaurants within 10 minutes walk.
Would definitely recommend and will use again
Ann Williams, September 2010: Accommodation was better than we had expected. Room size and lighting was good and room was not over furnished - important for my mother who has mobility problems and is visually impaired. Excellent location for the places we were visiting. Good campus facilities. Pleasant, friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely book again and have recommended to family and friends. Thank you.
Patrick Denis, September 2010: Nice and clean.
FP Cuperus, September 2010: I was surprised by the quietness of the room, in the middle of London!
Thansk a lot!
Michael Radford, September 2010: for a short stay in central London on a budget there is nothing better, it's a shame it's a summer only deal!
Mrs Sue Rigby, September 2010: I thought this was a real find in terms of having good quality, reasonably priced accommodation in a very convenient part of London. I intend to use it again.
Ms Chris Torode, September 2010: Very clean and comfortable room - bit of a trek for the breakfast, but good and plenty of it.
Hendrik Olivier, September 2010: Great value, great location. Friendly staff. Will use again for sure.
Glynis Berry, September 2010: Absolutely fantastic value for money and service all round - I have been before but my sister had not and was greatly impressed. Many thanks and will definitely use again.
graham dean, September 2010: Would certainly use the facilities again (despite being caught out by the false fire alarm as soon as I'd retired !)
Gavin Hesketh, September 2010: Very pleased!
Marco Carrara, September 2010: Great room, location and breakfast.
The internet should be free of charge.
Gary J Walker, September 2010: Very good for the price - accommodation and location both of a very good standard. Breakfast was fine - OK quality, the only concern being long queues from time to time.
The card key causes some anxiety - the chance of easily being locked out, but that's the price of security.
Will likely look to return for next year's Proms.
Nancy Adams, September 2010: I did not take breakfast, so was not able to comment... but the accommodation and service was quite good.
Nicola Thomas, September 2010: Would use again and recommend
Jaap Nauta, September 2010: Excellent option for short business trips to London for the cost-concious.
TERESA GRICE, September 2010: would be happy to recommend these rooms to anyone looking for quality, reasonably priced accomodation in London
Kim Chi DAUPHIN, September 2010: The breakfast room was too far and the choice of food was not big enough . But the staff at the breakfast room is really nice and kind. I really enjoyed my stay. We will come back. That's sure.
Mrs L E GORSUCH, September 2010: We were delighted with our room and the facilities (breakfast). As we were attending several Proms, the position was excellent and so was the price. We would be very happy to recommend it to our friends.
Philip Brown, September 2010: The room was excellent, but the general noise at the front of the building was much higher than my previous stay at the rear of the building. Having said that, there isn't much that can be done about the noise from the street - the bar at night and deliveries/work in the morning. Overall excellent however - wouldn't put me off returning in the slightest.
Philip Brown, September 2010: Reception staff were really friendly and helpful, the room was superb and breakfast was huge! Excellent value for money
Rolf Reichardt, September 2010: Obviously one cannot expect 5 star service for this price. But this has been the best London experience so far. Should we visit London again we would certainly try to stay at this location again.
Andrew Fordham, September 2010: Very nice accommodation in a great setting.
Amanda Trevenna, September 2010: Second time we have stayed here and the same consistently high service and facilities. For the money and location, I don't think it can be bettered. Would be nice if it was possible to select ajoining rooms when booking.
Ursula Tavener-Kappel, September 2010: Really enjoyed our stay; staff very helpful, super location, excellent value for money. Hope to go back next year.
Thomas W. Hill, August 2010: Very helpful reservation desk personnel. Wish the internet access could be free. It was at Cambridge.
david dubej, August 2010: A great place to stay, very nice rooms very friendly staff and an all round nice atmosphere. The location is fantastic! These rooms are a must for anyone wanting an inexpensive visit to London. I/We would book this place again.
Mrs Christine Alldridge, August 2010: Overall this accommodation offers good value for money for such a central locations - right next to the V&A, the Science and Natural History Museums and 5 mins from the Royal Albert Hall and Hyde Park. Don't expect luxury, but it offers good basic accommodation, if a little instututionalised (bathroom felt like a hospital bathroom, but may be because we were in a disabled-accessible room).
It has its drawbacks though. We were in a room right next to one of the heavy fire doors that intersect the corridors. I lost count of the number of times that I was woken up by someone going through one of these doors, which cannot help but slam closed due to their nature. I would stay here again - but would ask for a different room if I found myself next to one of these doors. Didn't find the noise from outside a problem at all, the windows provided a good seal from the bar just below us.
Note that toiletries are provided and include shower gel, shampoo/conditioner, soap and shower caps - no moisturiser. And there is no hairdryer. There's a kettle and tea/coffee stuff in the room, and an alarm clock/radio. Breakfast is plentiful with a 5-item fryup from a selection, fruit salads (not fresh, as has already been pointed out) and yogurt, cereal, toast, croissants, fruit juice, tea and coffee. Plenty to see you through the day.
Madonna A Brown, August 2010: Fabulous new building, excellent location.
Thomas O'Hagan, August 2010: The room was exceptionally clean and spacious. The on site facilities were well up to commercial standard. The staff were courteous, helpful and dealt with a minor problem professionally. All round very good value for money. We will be back.
Tom and Liz O'Hagan
Rebecca Nelson, August 2010: Very helpful staff, lovely clean room, and a very good night's sleep! Absolutely perfect for a trip to the proms.
Maddalena Cevese, August 2010: I had a wonderful stay at Princes Garden's and could only recommend it to any student coming to London!
Of course, there are some cheaper student accomodations throughout Central London, especially if you are staying for a longer period of time, but here you have the exclusive location, good facilities, good services, 24-hour reception and it is difficult to find a proper ensuite bathroom like this one in other student accomodations for that budget.
There was just one thing that I didn't like in my room. The windows were proportionally too small as there is the wall in between. That is a pity as a remarkable amount of natural light goes missing and and a part of the view as well as the room was facing towards Princes Garden's which is so cute!
Then, one could only open the partial windows to a certain point as there was a security locker on top prohibiting you to open the window the whole way through. The use of the small balcony was consequently not possible.
However, overall, it did not bother me too much as I spend little time in my room and was at libraries for the studying.
So again, besides this small manco of the window, Prince's Gardens is really nice! The small park in front itself is so enjoyable. Eastside Bar is fun for a small snack or a drink.
And from Princes Garden's one can go anywhere! It's great!
I would like to thank you again. I had a wonderful stay!
Trevor Ekins, August 2010: This was my first visit to Princes Gardens and in future, it will be my preferred destination when visiting London. Without exception, the staff was friendly, helpful and polite - a request for an additional pillow was met within 5 minutes. The room was clean and functional and the hearty breakfasts represented a wonderful start to the day. A hidden little gem from which some 4/5 star London hotels could learn!
Andrea Figari, August 2010: I loved staying at Imperial Colleg/Princes Gardens. The only minus point is that people leaving the bar (Eastside) are very noisy sometiemes. All Staff were friendly and helpful.
I did not particularly benefit from using the breakfast, as I was on a busy schedule and since it opened at 7.30 it was already too late for me. I did go there once and it was very nice.
I would suggest offering an option without breakfast, and then guests can choose between with or without breakfast.
I would recommend this to friends without doubt
Nick Shaw, August 2010: Boh myself and my father had a fantastic stay, everything was perfect. We won't hesitate to book with you again next time we come to London. Thank-you for everything!
Alberto Castro, August 2010: Cleaning the room (at least the bathroom) should be more frequently.
Gazzola Eve, August 2010: The room was very clean, even cleaner than some beds&breakfast I've been before. Nice discovery, I'll recommend.
Pat Horn, August 2010: Really pleased to have found this wonderful accomodation so central
to the Royal Albert Hall, museums, etc.
It cannot be faulted.
William A Hunter, August 2010: We went as a family group of 4 and thoroughly enjoyed our first Princes' Gdns experience. We are likely to be back
Thanks to all
Sue West, August 2010: Impressed with the helpfulness of the reception staff. So good to have the lounge space in reception, holding luggage etc and available to us all day. This an unexpected bonus!
Soundproofing in bedroom not of the best - heard v clearly next room's arrival at 2 am.
James Ozminskyj, August 2010: Thanks for helping make our trip to London a pleasurable experience. I look forward to staying with you again in future.
One minor issue was that it took a very long time for the water in the room to get hot. Otherwise, great.
Robin Stevens, August 2010: Housekeeping did not replace my towels on a day I had left them on the floor. Room very comfortable. Loved using the swimming pool. Reception staff were very helpful.
Chris Randle, August 2010: Room and location were well above average, and the value for money unbeatable.
Douglas Lawson, August 2010: I thouroughly enjoyed my stay. Everyhting was very clean and in excellent working order. The staircase and entire building were spotlessly clean. Thank you to the Cleaner of my room.
Mrs C V POTTER, August 2010: Totally satisfied and will use again.Everyone helpful and a very good experience on a budget,
Sarah Kingsley, August 2010: Ensuite room well fitted out, v clean and fresh decor. Also wonderfully quiet all the time we were there, throughout a weekend in August. Excellent location for Albert Hall proms and S Kensington museums.
Marie L Palmer, August 2010: The only problem was when we left our luggage on the last day. We were asked to stick a ticket on and then when we returned we were asked to get our luggage ourselves. I worry that because all guests were told this some other person could have taken our luggage. Most accommodation store the luggage in a secure place with staff only allowed to retrieve it. Other that this we had a fantastic time and our guests from China also commented on how lovely and good value the accommodations were. We will definitely be using this service again with other friends. Thank you to all the staff concerned.
Heather Fields, August 2010: Room comfortable and spacious. Nice to have a radio rather than a TV!
Good full English breakfast but perhaps with emphasis on quantity rather than health (fried bread, salty sausages, no muesli, sugary fruit juice).
Other than that, couldn't criticise and would love to visit again.
Diana Hensher, August 2010: We enjoyed our stay and location was excellent. Not too impressed by the breakfast - it was crowded and felt v institutionalised.
Claire Schmid Furrer, August 2010: All in all we were very pleased with the accomodation. One exception was the noise from the bar across the park, once it went on until 2 in the morning.
The breakfast was fine, except for the canned fruit. Fresh fruit would be healthier.
Claire Schmid Furrer
Dirk van Schalkwyk, August 2010: Very enjoyable. Rooms look much better than when I was a student.
Mrs Y.M. Davies, August 2010: My mum and I had a very enjoyable time in London. We especially liked our stay at the university. Thank you so much.
boumbar, August 2010: we enjoy our visit , very good location next the hyde park and kensington garden , the room is good and clean we appreciate that.
i said average for the web site because the room i saw it's not the same.
i was too far to my wife
Mark Abbott, August 2010: We also stayed later at Victoria with friend Hans Werhonig on our recommendation. We all judged that very good too but not quite up to Princes Gardens which included an amazing breakfast
Vicky Webster, August 2010: Very pleased with every aspect. Room clean and tidy. Bathroom facilities good. Breakfast hot and a good slick service. Check-in and out was quick and easy and was nice to be able to leave our luggage on departure day to collect later.
Ann Brigden, August 2010: Excellent accommodation and facilities; friendly and helpful staff; thank you - we'll be back!
M. Louise Webster, August 2010: very good central location, excellent value for money
Norma Willoughby, August 2010: Staff very pleasant and helpful. Housekeeping and Reception dont seem to communicate very well. Very noisy area late into the night.TV to hire for room would be great for visitors who wish to relax at the end of the day and watch the news. It would be preferable if one could have cereal before collecting hot breakfast. Overall clean, convenient area, safe and good value.
Joanne Williams, August 2010: This is the second time I have stayed at Imperial College and it won't be the last. The rooms are clean, the location, breakfast and price are fantastic.
Doreen Ritchie, August 2010: Very economical and close to Royal Albert Hall which was the reason for our booking. Preferred our room last year in Beit Halls where it was quieter. A young party playing all around our bedroom until midnight was a bit disturbing however we would book again and hope to get into Beit.
Simon Luijk, August 2010: we enjoyed our stay, unfortunately I had booked a double instead of a twin room but that was my mistake. Staff still tried to help though and everyone was very polite. Pity the shampoo etc disappeared from the bathroom after first day but maybe that was because staff thought we would be moving to a twin room, in end were too busy to bother about swapping. will definitely use you again and recommend to friends
Kate Walker, August 2010: There needs to be a better queuing system at reception - I stood there for a while before anyone helped me, but there were people free behind the counter. Once I was helped, people were friendly. I would definitely recommend Princes Gardens to my friends.
Michael Murphy, August 2010: Clean, secure and friendly accomodation in great location.
Room on small side and breakfast is a short walk away,
but overall, this has to be as good as anywhere else in
London at the price.
Paula Berman, August 2010: I was very surprised (and pleased) to see a double bed in a dorm room!
Helen Jenkins, August 2010: It was a nightmare trying to get breakfast, it was crowded with huge queues and very hot. In the end I gave up and went and bought a croissant and coffee.
On the positive sitde, the room was lovely, and very well equiped.
Mrs Lynn Davies, July 2010: All staff were extremely helpful with left luggage and directions to restaurants etc. I look forward to staying in the future. Thank you.
Mrs R Holmes, July 2010: Reception staff were helpful and courteous. Our room was spotlessly clean.
Claire Crichton-Stuart, July 2010: Excellent service - rooms clean and tidy with comfy bed and great shower and plenty of towels. The alarm clock and electric fan were unexpected bonuses and much appreciated but a hairdryer may have come in useful too! Thank you for a great stay - hopefully we'll be back.
Stephen O'Mahony, July 2010: Another excellent stay at realistic pricing.
Princes Gardens a bit of a visual mess after Friday evening "drinks"
Giulia Tramet, July 2010: A great experience, very clean and confortable.
angelika stuesser, July 2010: it was a great place to stay, i had stayed in beit hall before, also v gd. v friendly staff n gd nights sleep as v quiet
Miss Christine L Ward, July 2010: Sorry, can't remember the room number but it was a double room on the lower ground floor of Wilkinson Hours. Lovely and clean. All the staff were courteous, polite and helpful. Would definitely come again.
Susan Bastow, July 2010: Very pleasant stay, so central to everything we wished to do. All in all I would book to stay again, with my husband. Excellent facilities and staff.
CDH Vonder, July 2010: We had a pleasant stay at the imperial college. It is a great location. We would like to come again.
A pity was that the fascilitation of Etos, which you recommend are very poor for family's because children are not allowed (only on the weekend between 09.00 and 11.00 AM and then just one lane in the swimmingpool).
Christine Lam, July 2010: Value for money. Convenient location. I will recommend the accommodation to my friend.
Mr D Snaith, July 2010: fabulous location, will use again and again - thank you !
Petra Papst, July 2010: it was great! thanx
Mrs Maureen Jupp, July 2010: Our first booking and we will certainly be doing it again. The rooms excellent. Staff extremely polite and helpful and this includes reception and domestic. Breakfast food and facilities great even though it is quite a walk from the Hall. Thank you

MRS. A.M. EGGLETON, July 2010: As a one-night stop-over after a visit to the Proms, I'd be surprised if the Southside Halls could be beaten. Very convenient, very clean and comfortable, the shower worked well and the breakfast was quite superb, and all fairtrade too. Absolutely ideal, and will use again.
K. Jane Middleton, July 2010: Fantastic accommodation, in a wonderful location and at a great price. I would definitely recommend it to anyone staying in London over the summer. I did not have breakfast, owing to time constraint, so can't comment on its standard but everything else great- and very helpful and accurate directions from South Kensington station. Thank you
Lori Cairns, July 2010: very well organised, excellent location. I would recommend this to friends and definately stay here again.

kanika nanda, July 2010: the rooms were fantastic. it was a beautiful experience staying there.
the tube stations were at walkable distance which made the stay more convinient.
Anne Connet, July 2010: The only comment I have to make is that with my 2 night booking I found on arrival a bottle of water and a hospitality tray with 2 tea bags, these were used on the first day assuming that these would be replenished on day 2, however they were not so it was a tea-less evening and after a day sining at the RAH a tea and bottle of water would have been really good
Mabel Mitchell, July 2010: I would have no hesitation in recommending your accommodation to anyone and I will visit again when back in London if it is possible.
P F Rowley, July 2010: We have just spent a very enjoyable two days in London and the use of the Bar/Restaurant and the small shop made the expeience all the better. The staff at reception were also very helpful and pleasant.
Mr A T Muir, July 2010: The accommodation and breakfast exceeded our expectations - what more can I say. My wife and I will be spending a week in London in summer 2011, and we will certainly stay at Princes Gardens.
Anne-Marie Cray, July 2010: very convenient and comfortable -
Kenneth Sparkes, July 2010: Booking in & out slow due to numbers and few staff. Given occupied room initially but staff worked hard to find an alternative room as quickly as possible. The room was excellent.
Robert Prior, July 2010: I seem to remember my room last year had a TV. Nevertheless it was a good stay and I just watched a video on my laptop.
Peter Wylie, July 2010: Good value for money.
Ekaterina Chamonina, July 2010: Many thanks to all staff, very friendly and highly professional.
Very special thanks to Sean at the reception.
He was most helpful and patient with me (I could not find my room at first), helped me with my luggage and provided all informations and explanations. Excellent room, excellent cleaning, excellent breakfast, excellent location. Great service with the telephone card and with the internet connection directly from the room. Most enjoyable experience. Thank you very much indeed.
Jocelin Adderley, July 2010: Wonderful location, with good, clean and well maintained facilities. All the staff were very helpful. I was a single female traveller and felt safe and secure. I would have no hesitation in staying there again or recommending to my friends.
Ilona Pavlicová, July 2010: We spent 3 nights at Prince's Gardens and we really enjoyed time there. Everything was clean and breakfast was superb. The only thing I missed was some equipment in really nice kitchen. But nevermind. I do recomend this accomodation to my friends.
David Wu Dah Wei, July 2010: Enjoyed stay in hostel. Very friendly and efficient reception staff.
Mrs T Fitzgerald, July 2010: Overall it was very good but if being picky youcould do to have hairdryers or make it clear on website that no hairdryer in room. Had to queue a while to register. Could have done with some signs to direct us to breakfast hall across the road - when we found the right building there were no signs to say go up in lift. Had to get breakfast in one go - would prefer to be able to go for a drink then cooked breakfast then fruit. These are just how I think you can improve a bi t- overall everything was great and we would definately stay again if coming to London. Thought the food at the bar on the corner of the halls was excellent - not sure if this was anything to do with the uni but it was very good and very reasonable. Thanks.
Andrea Soennichen-Enders, July 2010: Very nice rooms, really tidy and in short distance to all, we liked to see.
Nice persons at the reception and in the senior common room- but also long queues everywhere, so we had to wait for a hour for check-in and half an hour to get our breakfast.
Nevertheless- we like to stay again in your rooms. Thank you!
