Prince's Gardens Residences (Southside and Eastside Hall), offer 722 stylish contemporary en-suite single, double and twin bedrooms in the exclusive South Kensington.

The residential complex is located within 5 minutes’ walk from the Royal Albert Hall, Hyde Park, Natural History Museum, Science Museum and Victoria and Albert Museum. There are 2 Tube stations within 5 minutes’ walk (South Kensington and Gloucester Road), providing access to London’s major attractions. Harrods department store and the designer shops at Knightsbridge are 10 minutes' walk away.

Each bedroom features free tea and coffee making facilities as well as a private bathroom. Linen, towels and toiletries are provided.

Buffet Style Full English and Continental is avialable to book. Breakfast is served in the Sherfield Building on campus, which is approximately a 5-minute walk from the accommodation.

Complimentary access to the gym and swimming pool at Ethos Sports Centre is included.

Princes Gardens is one of Imperial College London Student residences and is open to the public as a hotel during the summer holidays and is a great choice for travellers interested in museums, parks and culture.

History to the present day

Imperial College London was opened in 1907 and is one of the worlds foremost science and research universities.

Food and Drinks

Buffet Style Full English and Continental is available to book. Breakfast is served in the Sherfield Building on campus, which is approximately a 4-minute walk from the accommodation. Breakfast times: between 7.00am and 10.00am on weekdays and 7.30am - 10.00am on weekends.

Snacks and light meals are available on campus throughout the day from various outlets.

Food and drink vending machines can be found onsite.

Eastside Bar and Restaurant

The Eastside Bar and Restaurant serves a delicious range of 'gastro-pub' style dishes perfect for lunch or dinner, as well as a superb range of ales and wines, teas and coffees. Conveniently located on the ground floor of the Eastside Halls of Residence, this venue is on the doorstep of any guest staying in Prince's Gardens or Beit Hall. Eastside is open daily from 12.00pm-11.00pm Monday to Saturday and from 12.00pm-10.00pm on Sundays.

Ethos Cafe

As well as Eastside, the Ethos cafe is located on the ground floor of Ethos, Imperial's flagship sports centre, also on Prince's Gardens. Serving a range of hot and cold drinks including barista-style coffee and fresh juice and smoothies, baguettes, sandwiches, paninis, salads and lots more, the Ethos cafe is ideal spot for a quick bite to eat or drink after a swim or gym session or simply just to relax.

Grounds and gardens

Guests staying in Prince's Gardens can enjoy use of the leafy Prince's Gardens. As London's only privately-owned public square, the Gardens offer a beautiful green tranquil space in the heart of central London. For those who want to venture out of the College grounds, Hyde Park is only a short walk away with vast green space and lake.

Other facilities

Guests staying in Princes Gardens receive complimentary access to Ethos gym (charges apply for the rest of the facilities). Located on the north side of Prince's Gardens, Ethos Sports Centre offers sauna, steam room and spa, fitness gym, exercise studio for classes, sports hall for badminton, table tennis, basketball and 5-a-side football, climbing wall, three squash courts, treatments.

Free Internet access is available to guests for the duration of your stay. To access internet in bedrooms will require an ethernet cable. Communal areas have WIFI internet connection. Cables can be purchased at reception for an additional cost.

Nearest Underground Station: South Kensington Station.

Directions: At South Kensington station, turn right into the subway sign-posted for the museums and continue for approx. 5 minutes until you reach the very end of the subway. At the exit, cross the road and turn left up Exhibition Road walking towards Hyde Park. Take the second side street on the right that is Watts Way, half way along the path, you will see the entrance to reception which is located in Falmouth Hall in Southside building on your right hand side approaching from Exhibition Road.

By Car: Unfortunately, we do not offer parking. Please note that central London operates a Congestion Charge zone between the hours of 7.00am-6.30pm Monday to Friday, excluding Public Holidays.
