, August 2015: See also response to Booking 1442749 - Amended from 1441122 Because the original booking was for 2 nights, changed and became 2 separate bookings of one night each, did cause issue at reception - only second booking shown. It was handled well at the time by reception. 4/5

, August 2015: 5/5

, August 2015: Excellent value. Ideal for my needs: room clean with everything I needed, right next door to Albert Hall; big, varied breakfast to start the next day; and on good bus routes to the centre. By most hotel standards my room was reasonably quiet (some late night door banging, talking and movement but not too intrusive). The staff have obviously acted on previous comments as there was a small bottle of water and plenty of tea, coffee and milk cartons, though I would still recommend taking some extra bottled water, particularly if it's hot. I paid £5 for wi fi connection and had a good connection with no problems. Thoroughly recommended. 4/5

, August 2015: Initial problem - I had moved a 2-day booking for the weekend to the weekdays, but this showed at reception as one 1-day booking. Was 2 x 1-day (tho consecutive). Sorted quickly at the desk. Faulty kettle also sorted out quickly. Room did smell strongly of tobacco smoke a couple of times - not sure if due to room itself or ventilation. Shower - due to ventilation and lightweight shower curtain water sprayed on bathroom floor. Needs shower ventilation checked. Much of this probably due to change in booking meaning I got a less well prepared room. But all good in the end. 5/5

, August 2015: Matteress needs changing. A little cramped compared to our friends room 223 3/5

, August 2015: 5/5

, August 2015: Had a really good visit, made better by very friendly staff 5/5

, August 2015: I was very impressed with room & service having not stayed at Beit Hall before. A somewhat, no frills, austere but functional experience..a communist Premiere Inn perhaps. A rather monk like mattress would be my only criticism. The popularity of breakfast was an epic of international camaraderie ... fuelled for the day ahead. 4/5

, August 2015: Good for one night. Would need en-suite for longer 4/5

, August 2015: Always enjoy staying at Beit Hall; good value accomm and good breakfast 4/5

, August 2015: 4/5

, August 2015: 4/5

, August 2015: Our room a little tired but for convenience to this part of London and freedom to come and go this cannot be beaten. We will hopefully be back. 4/5

, August 2015: 5/5

, August 2015: Very minor groan, only one sachet of coffee, everything else, EXCELLENT. 5/5

, August 2015: Great position and good place to visit Lonfon 4/5

, August 2015: Welcoming and efficient reception staff. Excellent position for Royal Albert Hall. Bedroom service could be improved by re-stocking tea bags and replacing paper bath mats, which were removed after first night. 4/5

, August 2015: I booked back in May and asked for a quiet room. I was given a noisy room overlooking the road and next to the communal bathroom. Staff very helpful and changed my room but inconvenient. Even in the 'quieter' rooms there is a lot of noise from the bar in the quad. At weekends this goes on after 1am! 3/5

Mrs Fiona Clarke, August 2015: good value for money and in a convenient location. Staff very helpful and friendly. Only negative comment was the wifi connection, had great difficulty and the cost of the service was refunded, so that was an acceptable outcome. 4/5

Mrs Rita Pauly, August 2015: As always clean comfortable and value for money 4/5

Mrs Carina Hofbauer, August 2015: 4/5

Mrs Audrey Binch, August 2015: Perfect hotel for proms which is our main reason for coming to London. 4/5

Mr Colin Allison, August 2015: Overall good value, but some small things would make it excellent: Single most serious drawback is that that the need to bring your own drinking water was not listed in any of the information, pre or post booking. The dispensing machine, back on the ground floor was broken. Where was the nearest store? It would have been much easier to arrive with a 1.5 lire bottle of drinking water. The receptionist didn't seem to know much about the room or the services.g. was it inward or outward looking; did Ethos swimming pool have towels for hire? etc. 3/5

Mr Geoffrey Ponder, August 2015: A truly wonderful place to stay, almost immediately behind the Royal Albert Hall, and a few minutes walk from 3 of the most important and valuable museums in the world. The room was large and very clean, and staff at entry were friendly and welcoming. 5/5

Mr Nicholas Hughes, August 2015: The reception team was very helpful and were able to check us in a little before the "official" check-in time. Room was clean, beds were comfy and the breakfast was good - what more could you ask for. 4/5

Mr david wells, August 2015: 4/5

Mrs Veronika Koeper-Saul, August 2015: Unbeatable price and convenience for Proms patrons, however not as good as Imperial's Princes Gardens. We had two single rooms sold as "twins" meaning a folding bed was added. Roms were rather small for two and the second bed was less comfortable. I'll take care to book earlier next time and get a room in Princes Gardens or take a "double" or "single" in this hall. 4/5

Mrs Ellen Weber, August 2015: 4/5

Dr Marzia Fontana, August 2015: Everything was really fine. Staff helpful, clean room and superb location. Breakfast only was disappointing. Quality of food very poor. 3/5

Mr Ian James, August 2015: Extractor Fan not working in the Shower. 4/5

Ms Selena Ng, August 2015: 4/5

Mr Huw Jones, August 2015: Have stayed at Beit Hall for the last three years. Very good VFM. Excellent facilities in room but could have done with 2 pillows not just one. Hope this can be sorted for next year 4/5

Mr Peter Webb, August 2015: Excellent location and value for money. The room was facing the quad and was a single room with an extra bed, a bit small but fine for one night. (Those facing out were much bigger double rooms.) 5/5

Mr Peter Webb, August 2015: Ideal location and excellent value for money 5/5

Mr Maurice Lloyd, August 2015: 4/5

Mr David Hall, August 2015: Really good value for money 5/5

Ms Jaki Hall, August 2015: This is a fantastic place to stay in London. It's clean the building is amazing and location unbelievable! 5/5

Ms julie clague, August 2015: Excellent staff and welcome. Rooms very good. Water provision was thoughtful. Nearby lift was broken which was inconvenient but not impossible. Most helpful provision of a disabled access room for my mother. This was greatly appreciated. Breakfast very busy and chaotic. 4/5

Mrs Estelle Wishart, August 2015: highly recommended for visiting Royal Albert Hall and the Kensington area 4/5

Dr Corinne LAGROST, August 2015: rooms: clean, comfortable bed...but hot (cannot open widely the windows), a little bit noisy outside ( but it's summertime!). The staff were generally nice and helpful, including for the breakfast. The place was optimally located. The prices were probably a bit too high according our standard but in full agreement with London's standard (!). 4/5

Dr Kate Williams, August 2015: I always stay at Beit Hall or one ot the other halls of residence when I am in London. Good value and very convenient. 5/5

Mrs CLAIRE LOND, August 2015: I was very impressed with the value for money. The room was clean and comfortable and the shower very efficient. Now looking forward to the next two stays I have booked. 5/5

Mrs Gail Kirkpatrick, August 2015: 4/5

Mrs Anne Palmieri, August 2015: Breakfast was only like warm but I was very happy with the rest of the experience and will return 4/5

Ms Joanne Corbett, August 2015: 5/5

Ms Julie Kluss, August 2015: Excellent: Location of room in Beit Hall in central London. Access to free gym and breakfast facilities. Staff was polite and helpful with problems (i.e. plugged toilet, alarm clock, directions). Noise level was not bad considering location. Housekeeping cleaned and replaced towels, toiletries each day. Toiletries were available to guests - we didn't have to bring our own shampoo, etc. Value for location and amenities very good. Minor issues: Plugged toilet (although quickly remedied by staff), no wireless WiFi and not free, room location in basement with dismal view, ancient curtain pulled off of upper track-too high up to fix, thin walls allowed noise from partiers next door to keep one of us awake at night. 4/5

Miss Rosemary Edwards, August 2015: Really enjoyed our stay. Much nicer than staying in cheaper hotels in London with poor breakfast choices. Well done Imperial!! 5/5

Dr Damien Giurco, August 2015: 4/5

Mr Joshua Harrison, August 2015: Very comfortable stay and great value for the location. Would gladly stay again. 5/5

Mr Gareth Morgan, August 2015: When you take into account the facilities, location and the included breakfast it's fantastic value for money. 5/5

Mr Simon Lee, July 2015: Despite the initial smell of sweaty feet in the room, which I quickly became accustomed to, the experience was good based on the amount that I paid and the central location. 3/5

Mr Hiromasa Haneda, July 2015: Being able to peep students life and part of the campus is Ivey interesting. You should try the pub and bar in the courtyard of the same building. Enjoy reading some outdoors. Professor Emritus 5/5

Mr Susan Speranza, July 2015: Enjoyed the location and the value as a single woman traveling alone. I felt safe and thought the staff was very helpful. I would recommend it to others. 4/5

Mr Granville Stacey, July 2015: Very efficient at desk on arrival.Room key available with easy access to excellent quiet ground floor room. Very good breakfast. 5/5

Mrs Ursula Koester, July 2015: Nice room, quiet. Takes quite some time till the water in the shower is moderately hot. Since it is recommended not to drink the water from the tap, some more bottled water should be provided. 3/5

Mrs Sylvia Maybry, July 2015: Stayed during Davis Cup at Queens. Excellent room, reception staff always helpful and breakfast ok too. Would definitely recommend and use again 5/5

Ms Heather Rive, July 2015: Enjoyed my stay and would book again. 4/5

Ms Mateja Kolenc Kramperšek, July 2015: Excellent location, good service available 24 hour, only one of the bed in our room not comfortable. Overall very satisfied. 4/5

Miss Gwenda Meredith, July 2015: I chose Beit Hall because of the location to the Royal Albert Hall where I was going to a Promenade Concert. But the pleasant clean facilities and delightful desk staff, use of the sports centre and overall great value for money will ensure my recommendation to friends and return bookings from me.Thankyou 5/5

Ms Lynne Moran, July 2015: I thoroughly enjoyed the stay at Beit House. My friend and Iwere watching tennis at the Queens Club and we booked a double room for 2 nights. The best bit of all were very courteous and most helpful reception staff. Well done. 5/5

Mrs Amanda Watkins, July 2015: We had a very pleasant weekend at Beit Hall. All staff are very friendly and helpful (reception, bar, breakfast hall) It was great value with a hearty breakfast included. A real bonus was being able to leave our bags after check out, and collect them before our train home in the evening. The Quad is quite noisy at night but it's a happy noise of everyone relaxing and chatting at the bar. The first night we were too tired to care and the second night we joined them! Great atmosphere, great position, great value. Ideal for large groups, although we weren't in a group. However we met fellow Davis Cup fans at the bar and had a great night! We will definitely return. Thankyou to all the staff. 5/5

Mrs Penny Cottage, July 2015: Really good. My first stay and it couldn't be bettered, thank you. 5/5

Ms Chiara Marcon, July 2015: I received no information on the use of Internet (I could have asked, I know...). Other than that, the people at reception were extremely kind and helpful, the room was ok and the place quiet enough. I had a very good stay. 4/5

Mr Gary Walker, July 2015: All very good - would've been helpful to have access to a fridge in Beit Hall (as have had at Pronces Gardens and other IC locations) 4/5

Miss Jill Hamilton, July 2015: Cooked breakfast was cold on both days, but edible. Very friendly staff in all areas of college we went to. Would definitely go again and recommend to others 5/5

Ms janet booth, July 2015: Great accommodation with a wonderful view of the RAH. Many thanks 5/5

Dr William Jenkins, July 2015: Very good value for money. Breakfast always busy but never a problem finding somewhere to sit. 5/5

Miss patricia Gilpin, July 2015: I was very pleased with my stay at Beit hall. The staff were excellent. 4/5

Ms Maire O' Leary, July 2015: Great value. Staff were very attentive. Bar prices low. 5/5

Ms Adrianne Pullen, July 2015: Very helpful staff but cooked breakfast v poor . Great location 4/5

Mrs Esther Milne, July 2015: Only thing that isn't in the room is a mirror to look at while drying your hair. Student staff so nice and well informed. 5/5

Mr Frank Van Oyen, July 2015: We had a very good stay at Beit Hall. A special thank you for the very friendly young people at the reception desk ! 5/5

Ms Anne Machniewski, July 2015: Very clean and close to all amenities. Breakfast a little tasteless and student-like (what do expect from halls!). Overall an affordable and pleasant place to stay, would definitely stay again and recommend to others. 4/5

Mr David Brown, July 2015: Excellent value for central London accommodation. Very spacious room. A pity that the water in the bathroom is designated as not for drinking. There is a water dispenser in the reception area, but it would be better to have one on each corridor. 4/5

Mrs J Horton, July 2015: Great value for money, particularly if you want single rooms. 4/5

Mrs EMMA ALMOND, July 2015: Fantastic value for money and great location. Clean room, which also had fans (which were needed) Brilliant breakfast, can't fault our stay, will be coming back! 5/5

Dr Kieran Hickey, July 2015: Expensive (especially in the context of a weak euro) The central location is excellent as were the staff 4/5

Mrs Linda McCluskey, July 2015: I expected very basic accomodation and it was however, it was clean very well placed and the staff on reception were very helpful. The weather was very hot and although we had a fan in the room it was very uncomfortable. I would stay here again knowing what to expect but for value and where it was in London it could not be faulted! 4/5

Mrs lesley Breeze, July 2015: This was by far the most pleasant experience of budget accommodation in London. The staff were excellent, the bar and quadrangle area a welcome respite after an hectic day out. Will definately book again. Thank you Beit Hall. 5/5

Mr Julian Whitelegge, July 2015: Excellent value for a stay in central London. Folks booking should be aware that the single room is suitable for just one person and that there are shared bathrooms. Also the building lacks air conditioning. 5/5

Mr Darryl Fillier, July 2015: Basic dorm .... So great value for the money. Some front desk staff were indifferent, but the others were super helpful. Great location. Safe. Will go again! 4/5

Ms Fiona Starkey, July 2015: A little shabby at some of the edges, but overall it was excellent basic accommodation for the centre of London. I would recommend to thers. 4/5

Mrs Jean Walton, July 2015: Last year I stayed in weeks hall as your place was booked I loved staying in your accommodation as I only came across it by chance and the staff were very wellcoming last year was the first time I had stayed anywhere on mine own and being 75 years old it was a big deal but I need not have worried I hope to see you again thank you so much 5/5

Ms Karla Coreil, July 2015: The front desk staff (with the exception of one) was super polite and helpful. The room was basic, but the linens were a nice quality. The accommodation would have been much better if access to a refrigerator was provided; one night, we came in with leftovers from a 100£ dinner and were told that there was nothing they could go to help. Also, it was extremely hot while we were there, and there was no access to ice or cold water. 4/5

Ms kerry Meal, July 2015: Beit Hall was extremely good value for money, so much so it was hard to believe you were staying in Kensington. The staff were all extremely pleasant and obliging and a pleasure to deal with. I would stay again in the blink of an much so I am already thinking of a reason to return! 5/5

Ms Mary O'Hanrahan, July 2015: Pool access great. Free wifi would have made it perfect. 4/5

Mrs Gillian Crosland, October 2014: I have stayed at the accomm of Imperial College 4 times now - East Side, South Side, Weeks Hall and Beit Hall. Each place of residence is different in various ways, always been happy with everything, location perfect, would not look for anywhere else now - like a second home for my summer 4 night holiday in London! 5/5

Ms Nancy Hung, October 2014: Stayed in Beit Hall at Imperial College. Great value and convenient location. Basic amenities. The room had a very noisy toilet but that was the only downside. Would book again in a heartbeat. 4/5

Mr David Chilton, September 2014: A great stay with a wonderful breakfast and beautiful free-to-use sports facilities - many thanks! 5/5

Mr Jim Neale, September 2014: The check-in staff were excellent! A young man called Karl, helped us to our room but realized it was difficult for me, with stairs etc. (as I use a scooter) He went to check & took us to a more suitable room! He was polite & understanding, because he had a disability problem himself! The room was very good, with just one comment, a wobbly toilet seat! But 10/10 ! Thankyou! 5/5

Mr Christopher Middleton, September 2014: Really perfect location - rooms were large and modern, the service was just right and the value was excellent. 4/5

Mr Yushiang Wang, September 2014: I really enjoy this experience in London. 5/5

Dr Saowanit Saithong, September 2014: It 's nice place, good environment and safety to stay, not the far from the underground transportation and very nice service from the wardens. 4/5

Mr Simon Halls, September 2014: Given that it is a student hall of residence I was more than satisfied with the accommodation for a stopover when attending a concert at the Royal Albert Hall which is right next door. You would pay 20% - 40% more for a poorer room and whilst not a Premier Inn you are assured of a quite satisfactory standard. Lifts, kettle etc, decent shower and clean. 3/5

Mr Robert Sharman, September 2014: A good experience, apart from the distance from the underground. 4/5

Mr David Ruthenberg, September 2014: Happily recommend rooms to others 5/5

Mr Neil Watson, September 2014: brilliant! do you mind if i write about on my blog ? 5/5

Mr David Murray, September 2014: Accomodation pretty basic but good value for London. I have no complaints and will consider using again. Great location for central London. 4/5

Mrs Kathleen Cooke, September 2014: This was our first time using University accommodation and it was a very positive experience. Would highly recommend it and will undoubtedly be doing so in the future. 5/5

Ms Andrea Michelle Faustmann, September 2014: Can't wait to stay here again! 5/5

Miss Naomi Saunders, September 2014: Will use again, convenience was well worth it! 5/5

Mr Raymond Baker, September 2014: Fine location, adequate room for weekend break 4/5

Mrs Theresa Skelhorn, September 2014: Value for money hope to repeat the experience again 5/5

Miss Sheila Taylor, September 2014: As we were at the RAH all weekend, your services were convenient. Clean room with the facilites which we needed. The staff were very quick with breakfast even though there was a queue. Thank you to your staff 4/5

Mr Ken Greenfield, September 2014: Excellent service very happy indeed 5/5

Mrs Patricia Samuels, September 2014: A very enjoyable visit. Will book with you again! 5/5

Mr PETER DEWSNAP, September 2014: Excellent accommodation especially convenient for Proms visiting. 5/5

Mr Ross Donaldson, September 2014: Fantastic price for the location. Staff are really helpful as well. 4/5

Mr nick king, September 2014: Unfussy accommodation right on the doorstep of Royal Albert Hall. Very good value for money for Proms stop over. 4/5

Ms Kimberly Bryan, September 2014: Loved the use of Imperial College as a brand for the shower products! Great for the shower caps too 5/5

Dr Dorothy Keeling, September 2014: Good value accommodation in a brilliant location 4/5

Mr Steven Alston, September 2014: Central to Kensington and right next to the Albert Hall. So handy for the Proms. Clean, quiet room with nice basic on suite. Highly recommended 5/5

Mr Graham Davies, September 2014: This is an above average students Hall of Residence. Rooms and public areas were well maintained. The room looked out onto the quad which was delightful. Although the Students Bar was just below, noise was not a problem. The breakfast buffet was substantial and service was well organized. I wish I could have taken advantage of the facilities at Ethos. The location was ideal for promming at the Albert Hall. Museums were all close by. Great experience, great value and I shall be booking at Beit Hall again. 5/5

Miss Hannah McCloy, September 2014: Very good value for money and great location. It would be good if we could have had athe option of an earlier check in but could leave bags at the accommodation which was useful. 4/5

Mrs Anita Small, August 2014: Fantastic, exclusive location adjacent to the Royal Albert Hall. Three major museums, Hyde Park and South Kensington Tube station all within easy walking distance. All staff were friendly and helpful - reception, room servicing and in the dining hall at Sherfield. We certainly intend to return. 5/5

Mr Victor Funtanares, August 2014: Happy with our stay definetely stay there again!!! 5/5

Mr Graham Every, August 2014: Front desk staff VERY helpful & friendly. 5/5

Ms Judith Cross, August 2014: Great value in a central location. Staff friendly 4/5

Mrs Ann Walsh, August 2014: Very helpful reception staff. Problem with shower rectified efficiently. 4/5

Dr Jackie Gulland, August 2014: Good value. Central and comfortable. 4/5

Mrs J A Elmer, August 2014: It was rather daunting at first to find the dining room for dinner Wednesday evening then the breakfast room Thursday morning but I am sure having had the experience once it will be so much easier the next time I stay. Found you quite by chance whilst looking for a room for the night near The Royal Albert Hall. Very pleased to have found you. 4/5

Miss Angela Hodgson, August 2014: Re university staff/students directly involved in the accommodation programme : Excellent reception and room services. The welcoming, cheerful and well-organised catering staff managed large numbers of visitors exceptionally well. Many thanks to all. We appreciated your hard work and positive attitudes. 5/5

Mr David Burgan, August 2014: Obviously being student accommodation it was very basic but the location right next to the Albert Hall was brilliant. 4/5

Mrs Justeen Hunt, August 2014: Great experience, good clean rooms. Reception staff very polite. Excellent value for money. Planning to book again for long weekend :) 4/5

Mrs Julie Ratcliffe, August 2014: Excellent value accommodation in an outstanding location. 4/5

Mrs patricia birchall, August 2014: Really impressed with location, cleanliness and ease of use of facilities. Our few days in London were a great success, would definitely recommend this to anyone who wanted a value for money stay in London. 5/5

Mr Matthew Wright, August 2014: Breakfast, whilst obviously mass catering, was cold (plates and food) and a bad impression for the many foreigners. Food quality was generally good though. Room was fine and the location for the Albert Hall cannot be equalled. A bag left next to the bin was mistaken as rubbish and although only contained some food oddments, I wasn't impressed. Check in and out was business-like but not overly friendly. Sports facilities were very good and a worthwhile addition to the accommodation 'package' since I last stayed. 3/5

Fr. 4/5

Mr albert calland, August 2014: it is so convenient when attending Proms at RAH to stay at this excellent venue 4/5

Mrs Rachael Pankhurst, August 2014: The reception staff were very helpful - we has paid for an extra bed which hadn't been set up & reception were great at resolving this quickly at 10pm at night. 5/5

Mrs MARIE-ANNE PRALET, August 2014: Great location to visit London, buildings are beautiful: especially in the light of sunset!Conveniently situated with good bus and tube services, and for the Proms we experienced(we are french) . Room clean and comfortable, nice touch to get tea and coffee facilities and a bottle of water, excellent house keepers and receptionists. We shall book again and recomend it to friends and family. Next time we'll ask for a view of the Albert Hall and it's a pity the window can be opened more even if it is for the safety! 5/5

Miss Ann Smith, July 2014: We were delighted with the accommodation at Beit Hall. It is very well sited for getting around London. The students who were staffing the desk were polite and very helpful, we shall certainly use the facilities if we come to London again and have recommended it to our friends. Breakfasts set us up for the day! Many thanks! 4/5

Dr Girish Lala, July 2014: Excellent location and value for money. Basic but more than adequate rooms and facilities (crappy towels though!). Unbeatable combination of location and facilities for the money. Would definitely stay there again. 4/5

Mr Katherine Kelly, July 2014: Room very clean and comfortable. Stairs issue with suitcases as lift didn't go directly to room level. Staff helpful. 4/5

Mr Evan Cruickshank, July 2014: Excellent value. Welcoming staff and having access to the swimming pool was a bonus. Situation couldn't be bettered. 5/5

Mrs Jennifer McCreath, July 2014: Overall our stay was excellent. Room was clean and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. We were a bit worried after arriving after an 8 hour journey to have the girl booking us in tell us there was no record of our booking, despite presenting all of the initial paperwork. In the end after many confused facial expressions and no eye contact, she managed to find our booking which was not in Beit Hall, but in their sister accommodation over in Prince's Gardens. Not knowing London at all as it was our first visit, this caused a bit of anxiety (as I had worked out all of our directions beforehand), but once booked in all else went well. 5/5

The breakfasts were substantial and there was plenty of choice to suit all tastes. We didn't have any chance to try any of the sports facilities, too busy! The Eastside bar was excellent - we had Mezze which was well done and the drinks were nicely presented. The store was useful - especially being open until 9pm. I have only a couple of niggles;- the luggage storage is not at all secure - I felt that anyone could have walked in and taken stuff, especially at busy times ; secondly, no mirror anywhere near a plug socket in the room - I regard that as an essential basic requirement - had I known, I would have bought one with me - Many thanks 4/5

Mr PHILIP POLLARD, July 2014: Great location for really cheap price! Bed was a bit hard, but expected given you are in Uni Halls! Staff friendly and helpful. If you just want a basic room then this service is brilliant. 4/5

Dr Eirini Saratsi, August 2013: The room was fine for the price we paid for such central and excellent location. The quality of the breakfast was average but still satisfactory. The only negative experience we had was that the girl at the reception did not bother to explain us how we can find our room and it was a little confusing to find it. 4/5

Mrs Doreen Bravery, August 2013: This was our first time staying in Halls of Residence at any university, and having worked at Imperial in years gone by, I thought it would be worth trying. We had a great experience, particularly as we had a wonderful view of the Royal Albert Hall and the Royal College of Music. I will recommend this to others. Mrs Pat Horn, August 2013: Another great stay at Beit Hall. An efficient and welcoming reception whicn appeared to be manned 24 hours. Overall the accomodation is excellent for a short stay. Functional room with tea/coffee making facilities and a very clean en-suite. The breakfasts have vastly improved and are now excellent with loads of choice. Drinks and cooked food are available during the day from the Hall bar and for the area are reasonably priced. The Hall is well served by bus routes and is within easy walking distance of Underground stations. Tremendous value for money and I would highly recommend it. 4/5

Mr Andrew Bowman, August 2012: Very good location, friendly staff, 4/5

Mr Ian Dixson, August 2012: Second stay at Beit Hall. Room was of a better standard of presentation than previously, in a quiet part of the building, as requested. Check-in was straightforward and we were shown to our room as the building is a bit of a rabbit warren. This really helped. Breakfast was a quiet affair, shared with Russian and Japanese Olympic delegates. Excellent location in the heart of London. Shame we booked relatively late on and could only stay one night. No doubt will be back. 4/5

Mr Martin Wilson, August 2012: Would have no hesitation whatever in recommending the service - in fact, I have already done so! The accommodation was very good, and all the staff were cheerful and helpful 5/5

Prof Xiangdong Li, August 2012: Very good location and value for money. 4/5

Ms Helen Butler, July 2012: The location was ideal for us, and the people at reception unfailingly helpful and cheerful. Breakfast was delicious and offered a wide range of choices - loved the fresh fruit salad! The only suggestion we would make is that the pillows in the rooms were very small. It would be helpful to have two of that size or one more substantial one. Thanks for everything - we've already recommended Beit Hall to others. 5/5

Miss Gertrude Wright, July 2012: An excellent place to stay in London. Basic but I only used it to sleep. It is also very central for sight seeing. 4/5

It is fantastic value for money, and I wouldn't stay anywhere else!! 4/5

Miss Jane Hines, August 2011: Wi-fi in room would be great, but overall a wonderful place to stay. 4/5

Mrs Barbara Pitson, August 2011: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in LIC - it was a great experience and one we hope to enjoy again. Our room was large and the beds comfortable. The only small gripe was the lack of a mirror in the room although there was a large one in the shower room. Everything worked perfectly and the room was cleaned daily including replenishing of tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast time was busy but seemed to work seamlessly with enormous portions served quickly and efficiently. We had a couple of meals in East Side bar which were delicious and the staff all worked extremely hard. Finally - the position of this uni is perfect for a stay in central London. The no. 9 bus runs every few minutes from outside Hyde Park to Piccadilly. 5/5

Annie Wheatley, July 2011: Good value, no-frills accommodation in an excellent location - with nearby buses and tubes to take you anywhere you want to go. Wide range of ages and nationalities staying in the halls and safe and interesting surroundings for a retired country-mouse-visiting-the-city like me. Clean, tidy rooms and a bit of a scrum for breakfast: back to life as a student! 3/5

Mr Rob Henstock, July 2011: Very enjoyable night's stay. Good breakfast. 4/5

Joan Masters, September 2010: First night was freezing - no heating. but appreciated the extra duvet provided on request. I would have thought the coffee/tea/shower gel would have been renewed each day automatically as it would be for one night stays. An extension lead would have been useful so the kettle didn't have to boiled on the floor and a hairdryer could be used. But the location is fantastic for the price and reception staff couldn't have been more helpful so would certainly come again 4/5

Yeung Ka Ying, September 2010: overall is good, good location, clean the room everyday, the toilet is clean, the bathroom is clean, but the outside is a bit noise in the mid-night. 3/5

RAVINDRA G, September 2010: Internet access was slow / Wifi was weak. A facility to print docs for a reasonable fee would be useful.A microwave oven in the rooms would be useful as well. Breakfast was excellent. Housekeeping, particularly attending to fused bulbs or clogged drains or replenishing bath / tea-coffee items was found wanting.Maybe there could be one attendant to take care in the evening hours. Otherwise location, easy access and the Imperial Brand name make the residences great VFM. I have no hesitation in recommending to business / casual visitors looking for decent accommodation at sub-100 ppd. RAVI 4/5

Laurence Frost, September 2010: Room was a little 'tired' with some rust and flaking of paint and fittings in the shower. One of the biggest problems was no easy access to drinking water. Despite the kitchen area being opposite the room I was allocated this was double locked and I had no access to water, other than the 500ml provided to the room to cover the 2 days I was staying. The staff were very friendly, polite and efficient. 3/5

Mrs j v wallace, September 2010: We truly enjoyed our stay, both had perfect night's sleep (we expected it to be noisy with students). Breakfast to die for! Everywhere sparklingly clean. The young ladies on Reception were delightful, so helpful and kind. We have the dates you are open next year and intend to stay with you again during the summer, as well as for The Big Sing. Our first visit. 5/5

lisa darkin, September 2010: Perfect location for a night after the proms 4/5

John Lyon, September 2010: Didn't have breakfast - I left too early to go to LHR. I will use your booking system again 5/5

David M. French, September 2010: Great location...within walking of bus stops as well as the Tube station . My wife and I are retired and travel internationally often . Beit Hall is a great budget location . We would not hesitate staying there again when in London . David and Jill 4/5

Rob Edwards, September 2010: Great locationa and great value. 5/5

Kathryn Bowers, September 2010: It would have been ideal to have WiFi available in all rooms. The location was, however, ideal for the Royal Albert Hall, and we knew we were booking into an old hall. 3/5

Edward Bannister, September 2010: We would have preferred a room looking into the quadrangle rather than out at the road but we thought the location was excellent for visiting a number of important cultural sites. Would definitely recommend and will visit again next summer. 5/5

Brian Ridgers, September 2010: excellent - I made a point of re booking from last year and the standards have not changed. Thankyou see you next September 5/5

Peter Karch, September 2010: What great value for money, and such a convenient location for the Proms. My second year, and hope to return next August. 5/5

Christel Chater, September 2010: The staff at reception was very welcoming, polite and helpful - at all times, e.g. booking a taxi for our departure the night before. We would definitely like to stay again. 4/5

Jean McCarthy, September 2010: A nice clean room, only quibble would be that there was only one pillow which was quite thin but that's a personal thing. Would definitely use again especially for late night Proms! 4/5

Dawn Lord, September 2010: Very handy for the Proms!!! Good value for London. 4/5

Dr L E Friday, September 2010: Excellent place to stay for the Proms. 4/5

Glennis Dix, September 2010: Every year I thoroughly enjoy staying at Beit Hall. The location is superb as I use it as a base for the Proms. The new bar/cafe facilities at Eastside are absolutely brilliant - the food is superb and the staff are extremely friendly. The standard is that of a high class restaurant, but at very low cost. Please pass my congratulations to the chef and other staff! Might I suggest, however, that you keep the prices low for students there, but have a slightly higher price for those like myself, ie non-students? I'm looking forward to staying with you next summer. Incidentally, I have stayed on one occasion, a few years ago, in a self-catering appartment for 4/5 people, which was stunning, in Prince's Gardens (number 46?47?). Is that still available for people like me to rent? Thank you very much! 5/5

STEPHEN PEARSALL, September 2010: The shower did not work, and the window had to be wedged open with a bottle. However the room was clean, the breakfast choice excellent and the reception staff very helpful indeed. The en suite was a pleasant surprise. Excellent value for money- I will be staying again! 5/5

Peter Maguire, August 2010: As there was a central garden/courtyard at the halls it did mean that there were people outside the garden facing rooms until after midnight. Also the corridor doors hd very strong springs so every time someone went along the corridor the door banged. 4/5

Terry Hannigan, August 2010: Returning visitor for Proms. The usual high standard. Thank you. Hope to return for 2011 season 1/5

John Gill, August 2010: The most ideal location for going to the Proms. Hope the same rates will apply next year. 5/5

Jennifer Avery, August 2010: Absolutely brilliant time, perfect for what we needed. No complaints at all, only praise! 5/5

Madonna Brown, August 2010: A great alternative for a cheaper stay in London. fabulous location. very clean & comfortable 4/5

AMANDA DOBIE, August 2010: Very convenient location for RAH. A bit gloomy as one of the 2 room lights and the desk lamp were not working. 5/5

Mrs Christine Mattinson, August 2010: This is an excellent facility and all good. The room was fine, little bit of basic painting/cleaning needed on windows and bathroom but acceptable and excellent value for London and the Royal Albert Hall. 5/5

Sue Churchill, August 2010: Beit Hall is a great place to stay in the centre of London, especially if your are attending The Proms as we were. The room was basic, as we had expected, but it was clean and served us well. The breakfast was very good value indeed. We would certainly stay again and will recommend it to our friends. 4/5

Mark Marston, August 2010: Room clean and everything worked well - good showers, comfy beds Location next to Albert Hall was brilliant Could give more help on parking cars. parked in street as campus parking was not available until the evening which seemed strange, 4/5

Julie Simpson, August 2010: We enjoyed our stay at Beit Hall very much. We were very impressed by the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the room and the location. We consider the accommodation to be excellent value for money and a great location for London attractions. We've already recommended the accommodation to family and friends and we hope to stay here again. 4/5

Howard Parker, August 2010: A very comfortable, relaxing and peaceful stay. Also very convenient for attending the Proms next door at the Royal Albert Hall!! It's a shame this accommodation is not available all year round. 5/5

Mary Byrne, August 2010: Great location with easy travel access. Very enjoyable stay. Thank you. 5/5

Geoffrey McNab, August 2010: The welcome was warm and welcoming. Room 147 was an excellent size with a splendid view across the rear flight of steps down from the Albert Hall which, on balance, I preferred to one facing into Beit quadrangle. I was impressed with the firmness of the mattresses, bearing in mind it was student accommodation. The bathroom was small but perfectly adequate with a surprisingly strong shower. One minor matter of housekeeping for you - the toilet roll holder is coming away from the wall owing to wear and tear, not that this was a problem for us in any way. The walk from Beit House to the breakfast building was much shorter than I expected. The breakfast was substantial and very pleasant, especially as we managed to get a table for two by the window. All in all it was an enjoyable and highly satisfactory visit. I shall be recommending not only to my colleagues (Queen's University, Belfast) but also to adult students who attend my 'Travel Talk' series of lectures. This is a twice a year course I run teaching older people (in the Lifelong Learning section) how to use the Internet for their travels! I left in the firm belief Rom 147 had been EXCELLENT value for money. I will be back! 4/5

Estelle Wishart, August 2010: most convenient. Clean and warm room. Super value. Very helpful and pleasant reception staff 4/5

Daniel Lockwood, August 2010: The people at the front desk were very helpful, informative, and kind. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast was great. Good deal. Thanks. 5/5

M A Knight, August 2010: Great rooms, good staff, good food. All in all, best value for money in London. 5/5

Judith Correa, August 2010: All the staff we came in contact with were very good and always helpful. Would definately stay again and recommend to friends. 5/5

RICHART VAZQUEZ ROMAN, August 2010: I strongly believe that it was a good deal considering the cost. I would suggest though the free access to internet since this is given in all hotels for free. 4/5

VERONICA COOK, August 2010: My compliments to the staff on reception, who were pleasant and cheerful and to the housekeeping staff for the high standard of their work. It is always a pleasure to stay at Beit Hall. 5/5

Peter Nasrallah, August 2010: Overall good and cheap accommodation for a budget. Location is fantastic. Breakfast becomes boring. Internet access is excellent. 3/5

Mr P F Young, August 2010: The breakfast experience, in terms of the sheer numbers of people being fed, was not for the faint-hearted. Some warning in the publicity blurb that Prom concert-goers who book in to Imperial College rooms would find themselves among hordes of student groups would have alerted us to the fact that we were not going to experience cloistered calm! 4/5

Ann Woollacott, August 2010: overall we enjoyed our visit to Beit Hall and would highly recommend it to others. 5/5

angelika stuesser, August 2010: a truly great place to stay, felt like a campus student again!!! Beit hall has lots of characte, the staff was ever so friendly n helpful. i was amazed how quiet it was at night due to my room outlooking onto the quadrangle. i will come and stay again, for sure!!!! 4/5

valerie fichet, July 2010: All was good, excepted my room: I was very disappointed to not have a real double/twin like pictures on website, but a single with a second bed. I travel with my daughter, and that'ld be more comfortable. Next year , i wish coming again, see you soon 5/5

Miranda Paton, July 2010: Very nice people! Thanks 4/5

Kirsty Muir, July 2010: Thoroughly delighted with everything, heard about it after my dad recommended Beit Hall to me and I have recommended to a friend too. 5/5

carmel spicer, July 2010: I am not very mobile but they managed to put me into a room with only 5 steps to climb. The room I had first been given over the phone had, unfortunately, not been cleaned that day, so I was immediately put into a room that was fully prepared for a new guest. I needed more pillows with which I was happily supplied. The reception desk couldn't have been more helpful and I fully enjoyed my time there. 5/5

Terry Hannigan, July 2010: Beit Hall is a superb location for the Proms. My scoring isn't just a halo, repetition effect but reflect comparisons from the days before I discovered Imperial. 5/5

Collette Eales, July 2010: Good value for money; exceptionally clean; very pleasant helpful staff. One room was clearly a twin room, two beds, two desks, two wardrobes, two chairs, 2 lights etc; the other was obviously a single room with an extra put up bed, one chair, one wardrobe and was too small fot two people. The beds were too hard for a middl aged lady - me! The younger members of the party were fine. overall a good experience. 4/5

bernadette mc gowan nolan, July 2010: only problem was that it was noisy but the location was excellent for a visit to london with my 18 y.o. daughter and we loved the college athmosphere 5/5

Garyle Voss, July 2010: Everyone was very helpful. I loved that the World Cup was made available to everyone! 4/5

Helen Kay, July 2010: Single room was excellent value for money (£50) in central London - clean, quiet, comfortable bed and helpful staff. Have recommended it to friends. 5/5

Gerda Stenderup Pedersen, July 2010: We would like to come again - have also recommended you for friends who are going to London later this summer. 5/5

Zara Svensson, July 2010: I was extremely impressed! Staff on the desk were very helpful. The room was spacious, clean & well-equipped. I will definitely book again. 5/5

Caron Miller, July 2010: I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness, helpful staff, and great breakfast if a little chaotic. After a disappointing stay at a tired Travel lodge in Kings Cross earlier in the week at a higher rate without breakfast, it was an oasis of calm and very welcoming, with tea making facilities and water. We also took advantage of the swimming pool and had a cheap drink in the bar.I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay in London. 5/5

C A Ball, July 2010: excellent quality of room and service - very good value for only a little money 4/5

Mrs L Stevens, July 2010: Surprised not to be able to drink the tap water but a water cooler was provided in reception area. It would have been helpful to have the cooler pointed out on arrival. We greatly appreciated the provision of a fan in the bedroom. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Great location, very clean. 4/5

Maria Leptin, July 2010: extremely nice and very competent maths student at the reception on the night of our arrival (Friday July 2nd). We didn't have breakfast, so can't comment 4/5

Mrs Ada Roberts, July 2010: Reception staff very polite and efficient. 4/5

wendy parry, July 2010: the service from the front desk was outstanding. the staff was most helpful. i enjoyed my stay at the residence and would have no hesitation in recommending your facility. 4/5

Imréné Sarkadi Ágnes, July 2010: I was really satisfied with the accommodation and the helpful and friendly attitude of the staff (the receptionists and assistants at the breakfast). The housekeeping service was also great. The location is perfect:very nice bulidings, quiet and safe neighbourhood. 5/5

Janet Wright, July 2010: The bottle of drinking water in room on arrival was most welcome. I liked having an en-suuite for a single room which is not always possible to find. Two very quiet nights, with some noise (doors closing) on third night. Breakfast was a wide choice which was lovely, the tea and coffee from the drinks machines was awful though. 4/5

Sheila Fairclough, July 2010: Good value for money in central London and we appreciated our request for a quiet room. The room was very clean and there was constant hot water. Supplying a fan in the very hot weather was a welcome idea. Would use again. However we would have liked the complimentary bottles of water to be replaced when used. We were told as policy this only happened on the first day. The sign in the bathroom instructed us not to drink water from the tap and we did not have access to a kitchen. what is the difference between the room being let to 6 separate couples on 6 different nights and to one couple for 6 nights? 3/5

Brian Pedley, July 2010: Great value London accommodation, close to underground and museums. Nice welcoming staff. But two grumbles. Didn`t do breakfast because the directions for getting there were yoo complicated. I stayed on a hot sticky, midsummer night, but the only ventilation was a window that opened just a few inches. An electric fan would have been a help. 3/5

Leena Sukselainen, July 2010: wireless internet could be better in the rooms 4/5

PAOLO, July 2010: excellent quality / price will advise to other people Regards Paul Posar 4/5

Tõnu Meidla, July 2010: Booking was easy and fast. The room contained all essentials, but needed some fixing and refreshing (paint was flaking off both in the sleeping room and in the bathroom). Lack of air conditioning could be regarded normal in this price segment but it was still rather hard to survive in this particular case, because of very high summer temperatures outside. A good surprise was low street noise. Room service was disappointing (they nearly always forgot something) and lack of drinking water in the room was not very pleasant. I found a "do not drink tap water" label in the bathroom, but a limited quantity of drinking water was provided only on the very first day of my six night stay. Internet connection in the room was available for a special price only. In summary, it was still quite a good value for this price, regarding the position in the city. Quality of the stay could be much improved by making arrangements for drinking water and for more careful room service. Free internet in the room could be a nice bonus capable of inviting me to book again. 3/5

Dilys Wright, July 2010: We shall be using your facilities again ! 4/5

Stephen Moss, July 2010: great location for our long weekend in London. Comfortable beds & terrific breakfast. High temperatures at night - but the fan helped! Will definitely use again. 5/5
