We guarantee that all our feedback is genuine and can only be submitted by people who have booked through our websites.
Mr Neil G, October 2015: A painless booking experience and very speedy service when booking in. Our room overlooked the Albert Hall!
Mr Brian A, October 2015: Basic room but knew that. Overall very good. Location excellent. Rooms on the other side of building noisier. Friends said people sat outside till late talking in courtyard and it was difficult to sleep. There are benches there. Eventually staff asked people to quieten. Im sure they had complaints as bar had closed over an hour earlier. Some people v inconsiderate.
Mrs Alison M, September 2015: Staff were very helpful.
Mrs Joan H, September 2015: I was very impressed with my overall experience at Beit hall and have been telling everyone so since I got back. My first impression of the room was very favourable. It was light and spacious and with a great view of the Albert Hall. I liked being able to open the window a reasonable amount and it was quiet in the evening. Great to have a kettle and all tea making things. The bed linen was spotless and of good quality and the mattress was excellent; very comfortable.
My only very slight quibbles was firstly I arrived before the check-in time. While I realised I couldn't have my room key then I thought the porter (who wasn't busy) could have filled in the forms then all that would be needed later would be to to hand over the key. So many people turned up at just about 2pm I suspect many had arrived earlier and could have been dealt with earlier as regards the form filling.
Secondly someone else had commented that the duvet was a bit thin and I think it was. It was fine for me as it wasn't cold but it may not have been so good later in the year.
However, these were very minor quibbles in an excellent stay and I would unhesitatingly recommend Beit hall for anyone wanting good value, excellent accommodation at a reasonable price.
Mr David M, September 2015: Superb location as we were attending a gig at Royal Albert Hall and even better, our room was on the East side and had a view of the venue from the window.
Will definitely stay with you again when in London for any reason.
Mr David M, September 2015: Superb location as we were attending a gig at Royal Albert Hall and even better, our room was on the East side and had a view of the venue from the window.
Will definitely stay with you again when in London for any reason.
Mr Terence S Q, September 2015: All round excellent value. Thank you for asking.
Mr James J, September 2015: Great place to stay, fantastic value for money.
Mr Alan R, September 2015: The location of the accomodation is ideal. The accommodation was very good and excellent value for money. We will be coming again
Miss Miramgul I, September 2015: I is nice place to stay in London!)
Ms Annette H, September 2015: Staff are absolutely lovely, very helpful and friendly. The room is excellent value for money, as good as any of the budget hotels like Travelodge or Premier Inn. The only reason I've rated ours as good instead of excellent is because our room was overlooked by offices and we felt we had to close the curtains during daylight hours for showering or changing our clothes. The shower cubicle is tiny but good fun ! :))
I'd definitely stay again and the location is way beyond excellent ! We didn't use the gym or pool but to have the availability of such facilities I'd rate as excellent value for money. Yes, anytime I come to London again, I'll be looking at Imperial College rooms first ! Thank you Imperial College and staff.
Dr Peter W, September 2015: Good booking service. My room was very clean and quiet, if a bit small and basic (as expected at this price). Breakfast was chaotic but there was plenty of choice. Great value for money in a great location.
Mr GEORGE W, September 2015: Having had universityrooms.com recommended to me. I cannot wait for 2016 to try other locations on offer.
Mr Chris K, September 2015: Decent quiet room, looking out to the east side of the next door church. (The outside of the window needed cleaning.)
Across the corridor is a kitchen room, locked with the door and windows covered in white paper. So no fridge available to keep your drinks cool.
The lifts are excellent.
Basement has a laundry room, with several washing machines and dryers. Costs only £3 to do your clothes. Need to bring your own washing liquid - mine was a heavy version, which cost just £1 at a Poundland shop. Left this behind for others to use.
One needs to cross the road and walk along and upstairs to find the breakfast site. Lots of choice but rather average stuff.
Location is good with 2 buses to get you down to the tube at South Kensington. I also used the nearby number 52 for Victoria Station.
Mr Tim P, September 2015: Brilliant idea!
Ive stayed at dedicated hotels which were poorer in quality and service then this room.Have every intention of staying here again.
Dr Peter S, September 2015: I liked staying in an traditional university atmosphere, room was quit and clean, room service good. Room standard is basic, butcover all needs.
Ms Mary B, September 2015: It was wonderful thank you for your very kind hospitality. We had travelled all the way from New Zealand arriving on a wet sunday afternoon to your warm welome. It was so convenient being able to dine at the Union Bar. Great pizzas and chilli beef stuffed potatoes. Being next to the Royal Albert Hall was a bonus,we enjoyed the Proms. Cheers from DownUnder.
Ms Mary B, September 2015: It was wonderful to travel all the way from NZ and have a such a lovely warm comfy place to stay.
Ms Janis I, September 2015: Very impressed by the students at reception. Great location ! Very quiet.
Ms Yvonne A, September 2015: Helpful check in service and room facilities good with a very comfortable bed. Most convenient for access to London sights.
Mrs Maria F, September 2015: we had a lovely stay - Room was spacious ,light, clean and beds very comfortable. I'll be back.
Mr Michael F, September 2015: Really enjoyed our stay - the employees at the desk were most helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were delicious and great quantities. Unfortunately the water is not potable (only discovered that when we arrived). However, a bottle of water was supplied and we purchased more. It would have been helpful to have access to the kitchen but we do understand the reason for this. As we consider our overall experience it was excellent!
Mr Roger H, September 2015: Sorry cannot remember the 3 rooms we booked However 1 of the rooms was far superior to the other 2 - we will probably rebook next summer. Thank you for all your kind help.
Ms Jane A, September 2015: Excellent experience here. Wonderful location. Comfortable room.
Mr Malcolm N, September 2015: Can't rate the breakfast, because I didn't use the facility!
Mr Glyn C, September 2015: Top quality. I really really enjoyed my stay. All the staff were amazingly friendly. The historic building is lovely. Great breakfast. Superb sports/pool facilities. Complete bargain and a pleasure to stay
Mrs Sam C, September 2015: A small thing that would have been helpful would have been to have an additional mirror in the room, somewhere near a plug. It was quite difficult to dry/straighten hair without a mirror. It was fairly noisy in my room from quite early in the morning, I think this was the noise of the lift operating... Not sure but it woke me up both mornings I stayed. Breakfast was very good the second morning but it was cold the first morning. Despite these things though, the stay was very good value for money and all other aspects were very good. The staff especially were excellent, very friendly and helpful, especially the lady at check in.
Mrs Susan A, September 2015: Would definitely stay at Beit Hall again.
Mr anthony B, September 2015: Outstanding value for the money paid. All staff friendly and could not do enough to help us
Mrs Christina D, September 2015: once again a lovely stay - perfect location - and the basement room 06 is fantastic!
Mrs CLAIRE L, September 2015: A delightful place to stay and the proximity to the RAH amazing. I look forward to being able to stay in next year's Prom programme, it made everything so pleasant and convenient.
Prof Soeren Holdt J, September 2015: I really liked my stay and was positive supprised. It was my fisrt time. Actually I plan to bring my familily with me in the future. The location in London is excellent.
Ms Bridget B, September 2015: Everything was excellent. However it would have been beneficial to have known in advance that there was no drinking water in the room [or a bottle left for the first night] the springs were coming through the mattress but the fantastic staff found me a duvet to put over them. Overall very good.
Ms Jackie W, September 2015: All the staff were so helpful.
Mrs Georgina W, September 2015: Excellent location.
Ms Amanda P, September 2015: Can't fault a thing best value ever!! Absolutely brilliant !!! I will always stay with these guys
Mr SAGAR SHASHIDHAR M, September 2015: the location to have breakfast was not ideal since we have to go to other building across the street.
Ms Sheila M, September 2015: First time at Beit Hall. Excellent value. Friendly, helpful staff, fantastic location. Highly recommend.
Dr. JANE H, September 2015: +Good situation in London
+good price for ensuite room and access to Ethos Club
+parcs and place where you can take your own tea
+openings hours for breakfast (large)
+Kinds students at réception who inform and help you +++
-small room for 1 person, I precise that I would like a view on the quadrange on internet and it was not the case
-no réfrigérator and kitchen are closed
-no drink water in the room
-come with your hairdryer because the location is expensive
-5 ingrédients in your warm breakfast so you have to choose between tomato and beans!
-difficult access to wifi
A very good choice to visit London with an access to Ethos Club
it s better to be 2;rooms are large :)
Mr Kenneth K, September 2015: It is always a great pleasure to make use of Beit Hall, or other Imperial College accommodation, for my visits to the Proms. Overall, a first-class experience. Thank you.
Mr Jeffrey S, September 2015: Excellent location and great value for money
Miss Barbara B, September 2015: Excellent! Clean, comfortable and very quiet. Great breakfast too
Mr Philip M, September 2015: Excellent all round. A central London venue at a very good price-hopefully will utilise again
Mrs Paula R, September 2015: Thank you - it was a First for me - staff happy & helpful - bless you All for making it such a wonderful experience. Paula
Mr Brian E, September 2015: My mother and wife were extremely impressed with both the accomodation, service and location. And I was very happy with the vaue for money for such quality accomodation in the center of London.
Mrs Fiona P, September 2015: Friendly and helpful staff
Great value for money
Felt very safe as a lady travelling alone
Definitely would stay next tome
Miss MARY D, September 2015: Central location for a clean and comfortable room at a bargain price.
Eastgate served food and drinks at good prices too.
Dr Finola C, September 2015: This was an excellent experience I only wish one could avail of it throughout the year
Ms Liz C, September 2015: This is the best London student accommodation I have holidayed in so far, and in a very attractive area. I was a wee bit chilly at night, though, as the duvet was thin. Will definitely try to book in here again.
Mrs Mary M, September 2015: Excellent value great location. Good selection of food for breakfast but service a bit disorganised had great food at Eastside bar. Reception staff were very helpful at all times. I would definitely recommend to family and friends.
Mrs Penny C, September 2015: My 2nd stay, excellent room and stay, thank you.
Mrs Joanne J, September 2015: The Staff were very helpful and friendly, nothing was too much touble
Mr Philip E, September 2015: Generally all good. Breakfast quantity very good but quality of cooked items is quite poor.
Miss Angela H, September 2015: Quality of shower room facilities was less good than within the room itself.
Welcome and staff support and engagement were excellent - as was the catering. Many thanks once again.
Mme. Emily R, September 2015: Really great localisation near the Royal Albert Hall, clean rooms, quiet, a very good price for the center of London!
Mrs Helene P, September 2015: Staff at reception incredibly friendly and helpful, cheerful, comfortable atmosphere, good food in the bar. Have already recommended Beit Hall to all of my friends if staying in London during the summer.
Ms Shona G, September 2015: Very helpful reception staff. Safe and friendly atmosphere. Very clean shared facilities and room. Showers rather difficult to negotiate due to fixed shower head which meant you and the floor got soaked turning it on and waiting for it to heat up. Mattress was very lumpy, hard and in need of replacing. Great breakfast and very good overall experience and value for money.
Mrs Vesna V, September 2015: Good accommodation for conference event
Dr Sally W, September 2015: 1: Easy to book and good follow-up;
2: Reception staff v pleasant and helpful;
3: Room - lovely view - sockets difficult to access, light over wash basin not working;
4: Breakfast - staff could be pleasanter - cooking of eggs could be improved (scrambled eggs - grey and dry; boiled eggs - yolks over-cooked and grey);
5: overall experience - v good;
6: excellent value for money
Mr Michael Y, September 2015: Excellent location for a reasonably priced place to stay in central London
Mr Terence H, September 2015:
Mr Peter H, September 2015: The central location makes this ideal accommodation for London sightseeing
I will certainly recommend Beit Hall to friends.
Mr David P, September 2015: Comfortable and quiet place to stay in a lovely part of London, friendly and helpful staff
Miss Esther S, September 2015: Wonderful location (view on Royal Albert Hall!), friendly staff, fantastic breakfast on which you may build the whole day and very nice to make use of the sport facilities. Being in a university residence makes you feel less like a tourist and more like a London student :).
Mr Mike A, September 2015: Very good for a base to explore London
Ms Isobel W, August 2015: I really enjoyed my stay and wish I had discovered this years ago. One point, bathroom bin was not emptied prior to my arrival but everything else was wonderful. Hope to visit again
Mr Stuart S, August 2015: We have always enjoyed our overnight stays at Beit Hall. The staff are friendly and efficient.
Mrs Joyce I, August 2015: Female visitors would appreciate a mirror near an electric socket in the room.
Mrs Sue C, August 2015: We always find the staff welcoming and accommodating and our room clean and comfortable. Thank you. Breakfast is fine and, once again, staff are very courteous. Only gripe would be with the juice and coffee but we just don't drink them!
Mr Gary W, August 2015: See also response to
Booking 1442749 - Amended from 1441122
Because the original booking was for 2 nights, changed and became 2 separate bookings of one night each, did cause issue at reception - only second booking shown. It was handled well at the time by reception.
Mrs Fiona C, August 2015:
Mr William E, August 2015: Excellent value. Ideal for my needs: room clean with everything I needed, right next door to Albert Hall; big, varied breakfast to start the next day; and on good bus routes to the centre. By most hotel standards my room was reasonably quiet (some late night door banging, talking and movement but not too intrusive). The staff have obviously acted on previous comments as there was a small bottle of water and plenty of tea, coffee and milk cartons, though I would still recommend taking some extra bottled water, particularly if it's hot. I paid £5 for wi fi connection and had a good connection with no problems. Thoroughly recommended.
Mr Gary W, August 2015: Initial problem - I had moved a 2-day booking for the weekend to the weekdays, but this showed at reception as one 1-day booking. Was 2 x 1-day (tho consecutive). Sorted quickly at the desk. Faulty kettle also sorted out quickly. Room did smell strongly of tobacco smoke a couple of times - not sure if due to room itself or ventilation. Shower - due to ventilation and lightweight shower curtain water sprayed on bathroom floor. Needs shower ventilation checked. Much of this probably due to change in booking meaning I got a less well prepared room. But all good in the end.
Mrs Caroline H, August 2015: Matteress needs changing. A little cramped compared to our friends room 223
Mr David O. A, August 2015: Good location
Mrs Alison P, August 2015:
Ms Amanda-Jane D, August 2015: Fantastic location for the Albert Hall. Will be back again. Really excellent value.
Mr Graeme C, August 2015:
Dr Marco R, August 2015: Fantastic room in front of the Royal Albert Hall
Mr Adrian G, August 2015: good value for a convenient location to the Proms!
Miss Catherine S, August 2015:
Mrs Philippa H, August 2015: Had a really good visit, made better by very friendly staff
Mr John S, August 2015: I was very impressed with room & service having not stayed at Beit Hall before. A somewhat, no frills, austere but functional experience..a communist Premiere Inn perhaps. A rather monk like mattress would be my only criticism. The popularity of breakfast was an epic of international camaraderie ... fuelled for the day ahead.
Mr Roger C, August 2015: Good for one night. Would need en-suite for longer
Mr Robert W, August 2015: Always enjoy staying at Beit Hall; good value accomm and good breakfast
Mr Richard M, August 2015:
Mrs Gillian W, August 2015:
Mrs Sue S, August 2015: Our room a little tired but for convenience to this part of London and freedom to come and go this cannot be beaten. We will hopefully be back.
Mrs Denise C, August 2015:
Mrs CLAIRE L, August 2015: Very minor groan, only one sachet of coffee, everything else, EXCELLENT.
Miss Marta P, August 2015: Great position and good place to visit Lonfon
Mr Graham W, August 2015: Welcoming and efficient reception staff. Excellent position for Royal Albert Hall. Bedroom service could be improved by re-stocking tea bags and replacing paper bath mats, which were removed after first night.
Mr Gerry C, August 2015: I booked back in May and asked for a quiet room. I was given a noisy room overlooking the road and next to the communal bathroom. Staff very helpful and changed my room but inconvenient. Even in the 'quieter' rooms there is a lot of noise from the bar in the quad. At weekends this goes on after 1am!
Mrs Fiona C, August 2015: good value for money and in a convenient location. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Only negative comment was the wifi connection, had great difficulty and the cost of the service was refunded, so that was an acceptable outcome.
Mrs Rita P, August 2015: As always clean comfortable and value for money
Mrs Carina H, August 2015:
Mrs Audrey B, August 2015: Perfect hotel for proms which is our main reason for coming to London.
Mr Colin A, August 2015: Overall good value, but some small things would make it excellent:
Single most serious drawback is that that the need to bring your own drinking water was not listed in any of the information, pre or post booking. The dispensing machine, back on the ground floor was broken. Where was the nearest store? It would have been much easier to arrive with a 1.5 lire bottle of drinking water.
The receptionist didn't seem to know much about the room or the services.g. was it inward or outward looking; did Ethos swimming pool have towels for hire? etc.
Mr Geoffrey P, August 2015: A truly wonderful place to stay, almost immediately behind the Royal Albert Hall, and a few minutes walk from 3 of the most important and valuable museums in the world. The room was large and very clean, and staff at entry were friendly and welcoming.
Mr Nicholas H, August 2015: The reception team was very helpful and were able to check us in a little before the "official" check-in time. Room was clean, beds were comfy and the breakfast was good - what more could you ask for.
Mrs Veronika K, August 2015: Unbeatable price and convenience for Proms patrons, however not as good as Imperial's Princes Gardens. We had two single rooms sold as "twins" meaning a folding bed was added. Roms were rather small for two and the second bed was less comfortable. I'll take care to book earlier next time and get a room in Princes Gardens or take a "double" or "single" in this hall.
Mrs Ellen W, August 2015:
Dr Marzia F, August 2015: Everything was really fine. Staff helpful, clean room and superb location.
Breakfast only was disappointing. Quality of food very poor.
Mr Ian J, August 2015: Extractor Fan not working in the Shower.
Ms Selena N, August 2015:
Mr Huw J, August 2015: Have stayed at Beit Hall for the last three years. Very good VFM. Excellent facilities in room but could have done with 2 pillows not just one. Hope this can be sorted for next year
Mr Peter W, August 2015: Excellent location and value for money. The room was facing the quad and was a single room with an extra bed, a bit small but fine for one night. (Those facing out were much bigger double rooms.)
Mr Peter W, August 2015: Ideal location and excellent value for money
Mr Maurice L, August 2015:
Mr David H, August 2015: Really good value for money
Ms Jaki H, August 2015: This is a fantastic place to stay in London. It's clean the building is amazing and location unbelievable!
Ms julie C, August 2015: Excellent staff and welcome. Rooms very good. Water provision was thoughtful. Nearby lift was broken which was inconvenient but not impossible. Most helpful provision of a disabled access room for my mother. This was greatly appreciated. Breakfast very busy and chaotic.
Mrs Estelle W, August 2015: highly recommended for visiting Royal Albert Hall and the Kensington area
Dr Corinne L, August 2015: rooms: clean, comfortable bed...but hot (cannot open widely the windows), a little bit noisy outside ( but it's summertime!).
The staff were generally nice and helpful, including for the breakfast.
The place was optimally located.
The prices were probably a bit too high according our standard but in full agreement with London's standard (!).
Dr Kate W, August 2015: I always stay at Beit Hall or one ot the other halls of residence when I am in London. Good value and very convenient.
Mrs CLAIRE L, August 2015: I was very impressed with the value for money. The room was clean and comfortable and the shower very efficient. Now looking forward to the next two stays I have booked.
Mrs Anne P, August 2015: Breakfast was only like warm but I was very happy with the rest of the experience and will return
Ms Joanne C, August 2015:
Ms Julie K, August 2015: Excellent: Location of room in Beit Hall in central London. Access to free gym and breakfast facilities. Staff was polite and helpful with problems (i.e. plugged toilet, alarm clock, directions). Noise level was not bad considering location. Housekeeping cleaned and replaced towels, toiletries each day. Toiletries were available to guests - we didn't have to bring our own shampoo, etc. Value for location and amenities very good.
Minor issues: Plugged toilet (although quickly remedied by staff), no wireless WiFi and not free, room location in basement with dismal view, ancient curtain pulled off of upper track-too high up to fix, thin walls allowed noise from partiers next door to keep one of us awake at night.
Miss Rosemary E, August 2015: Really enjoyed our stay. Much nicer than staying in cheaper hotels in London with poor breakfast choices. Well done Imperial!!
Dr Damien G, August 2015:
Mr Joshua H, August 2015: Very comfortable stay and great value for the location. Would gladly stay again.
Mr Gareth M, August 2015: When you take into account the facilities, location and the included breakfast it's fantastic value for money.
Mr Simon L, July 2015: Despite the initial smell of sweaty feet in the room, which I quickly became accustomed to, the experience was good based on the amount that I paid and the central location.
Mr Hiromasa H, July 2015: Being able to peep students life and part of the campus is Ivey interesting.
You should try the pub and bar in the courtyard of the same building. Enjoy reading some outdoors. Professor Emritus
Mr Susan S, July 2015: Enjoyed the location and the value as a single woman traveling alone. I felt safe and thought the staff was very helpful. I would recommend it to others.
Mr Granville S, July 2015: Very efficient at desk on arrival.Room key available with easy access to excellent quiet ground floor room. Very good breakfast.
Mrs Ursula K, July 2015: Nice room, quiet. Takes quite some time till the water in the shower is moderately hot. Since it is recommended not to drink the water from the tap, some more bottled water should be provided.
Mrs Sylvia M, July 2015: Stayed during Davis Cup at Queens. Excellent room, reception staff always helpful and breakfast ok too. Would definitely recommend and use again
Ms Heather R, July 2015: Enjoyed my stay and would book again.
Ms Mateja K, July 2015: Excellent location, good service available 24 hour, only one of the bed in our room not comfortable. Overall very satisfied.
Miss Gwenda M, July 2015: I chose Beit Hall because of the location to the Royal Albert Hall where I was going to a Promenade Concert. But the pleasant clean facilities and delightful desk staff, use of the sports centre and overall great value for money will ensure my recommendation to friends and return bookings from me.Thankyou
Ms Lynne M, July 2015: I thoroughly enjoyed the stay at Beit House. My friend and Iwere watching tennis at the Queens Club and we booked a double room for 2 nights. The best bit of all were very courteous and most helpful reception staff. Well done.
Mrs Amanda W, July 2015: We had a very pleasant weekend at Beit Hall. All staff are very friendly and helpful (reception, bar, breakfast hall) It was great value with a hearty breakfast included. A real bonus was being able to leave our bags after check out, and collect them before our train home in the evening. The Quad is quite noisy at night but it's a happy noise of everyone relaxing and chatting at the bar. The first night we were too tired to care and the second night we joined them! Great atmosphere, great position, great value. Ideal for large groups, although we weren't in a group. However we met fellow Davis Cup fans at the bar and had a great night! We will definitely return. Thankyou to all the staff.
Mrs Penny C, July 2015: Really good. My first stay and it couldn't be bettered, thank you.
Ms Chiara M, July 2015: I received no information on the use of Internet (I could have asked, I know...).
Other than that, the people at reception were extremely kind and helpful, the room was ok and the place quiet enough. I had a very good stay.
Mr Gary W, July 2015: All very good - would've been helpful to have access to a fridge in Beit Hall (as have had at Pronces Gardens and other IC locations)
Miss Jill H, July 2015: Cooked breakfast was cold on both days, but edible.
Very friendly staff in all areas of college we went to.
Would definitely go again and recommend to others
Ms janet B, July 2015: Great accommodation with a wonderful view of the RAH. Many thanks
Dr William J, July 2015: Very good value for money. Breakfast always busy but never a problem finding somewhere to sit.
Miss patricia G, July 2015: I was very pleased with my stay at Beit hall. The staff were excellent.
Ms Maire O, July 2015: Great value. Staff were very attentive. Bar prices low.
Ms Adrianne P, July 2015: Very helpful staff but cooked breakfast v poor . Great location
Mrs Esther M, July 2015: Only thing that isn't in the room is a mirror to look at while drying your hair.
Student staff so nice and well informed.
Mr Frank V, July 2015: We had a very good stay at Beit Hall. A special thank you for the very friendly young people at the reception desk !
Ms Anne M, July 2015: Very clean and close to all amenities. Breakfast a little tasteless and student-like (what do expect from halls!). Overall an affordable and pleasant place to stay, would definitely stay again and recommend to others.
Mr David B, July 2015: Excellent value for central London accommodation. Very spacious room. A pity that the water in the bathroom is designated as not for drinking. There is a water dispenser in the reception area, but it would be better to have one on each corridor.
Mrs J H, July 2015: Great value for money, particularly if you want single rooms.
Mrs EMMA A, July 2015: Fantastic value for money and great location.
Clean room, which also had fans (which were needed)
Brilliant breakfast, can't fault our stay, will be coming back!
Dr Kieran H, July 2015: Expensive (especially in the context of a weak euro)
The central location is excellent as were the staff
Mrs Linda M, July 2015: I expected very basic accomodation and it was however, it was clean very well placed and the staff on reception were very helpful. The weather was very hot and although we had a fan in the room it was very uncomfortable. I would stay here again knowing what to expect but for value and where it was in London it could not be faulted!
Mrs lesley B, July 2015: This was by far the most pleasant experience of budget accommodation in London. The staff were excellent, the bar and quadrangle area a welcome respite after an hectic day out. Will definately book again. Thank you Beit Hall.
Mr Julian W, July 2015: Excellent value for a stay in central London. Folks booking should be aware that the single room is suitable for just one person and that there are shared bathrooms. Also the building lacks air conditioning.
Mr Darryl F, July 2015: Basic dorm .... So great value for the money.
Some front desk staff were indifferent, but the others were super helpful.
Great location. Safe.
Will go again!
Ms Fiona S, July 2015: A little shabby at some of the edges, but overall it was excellent basic accommodation for the centre of London.
I would recommend to thers.
Mrs Jean W, July 2015: Last year I stayed in weeks hall as your place was booked I loved staying in your accommodation as I only came across it by chance and the staff were very wellcoming last year was the first time I had stayed anywhere on mine own and being 75 years old it was a big deal but I need not have worried I hope to see you again thank you so much
Ms Karla C, July 2015: The front desk staff (with the exception of one) was super polite and helpful. The room was basic, but the linens were a nice quality. The accommodation would have been much better if access to a refrigerator was provided; one night, we came in with leftovers from a 100£ dinner and were told that there was nothing they could go to help. Also, it was extremely hot while we were there, and there was no access to ice or cold water.
Ms kerry M, July 2015: Beit Hall was extremely good value for money, so much so it was hard to believe you were staying in Kensington. The staff were all extremely pleasant and obliging and a pleasure to deal with. I would stay again in the blink of an eye.....so much so I am already thinking of a reason to return!
Ms Mary O, July 2015: Pool access great. Free wifi would have made it perfect.
Mrs Gillian C, October 2014: I have stayed at the accomm of Imperial College 4 times now - East Side, South Side, Weeks Hall and Beit Hall. Each place of residence is different in various ways, always been happy with everything, location perfect, would not look for anywhere else now - like a second home for my summer 4 night holiday in London!
Ms Nancy H, October 2014: Stayed in Beit Hall at Imperial College. Great value and convenient location. Basic amenities. The room had a very noisy toilet but that was the only downside. Would book again in a heartbeat.
Mr David C, September 2014: A great stay with a wonderful breakfast and beautiful free-to-use sports facilities - many thanks!
Mr Jim N, September 2014: The check-in staff were excellent! A young man called Karl, helped us to our room but realized it was difficult for me, with stairs etc. (as I use a scooter) He went to check & took us to a more suitable room! He was polite & understanding, because he had a disability problem himself!
The room was very good, with just one comment, a wobbly toilet seat! But 10/10 ! Thankyou!
Mr Christopher M, September 2014: Really perfect location - rooms were large and modern, the service was just right and the value was excellent.
Mr Yushiang W, September 2014: I really enjoy this experience in London.
Dr Saowanit S, September 2014: It 's nice place, good environment and safety to stay, not the far from the underground transportation and very nice service from the wardens.
Mr Simon H, September 2014: Given that it is a student hall of residence I was more than satisfied with the accommodation for a stopover when attending a concert at the Royal Albert Hall which is right next door. You would pay 20% - 40% more for a poorer room and whilst not a Premier Inn you are assured of a quite satisfactory standard. Lifts, kettle etc, decent shower and clean.
Mr Robert S, September 2014: A good experience, apart from the distance from the underground.
Mr David R, September 2014: Happily recommend rooms to others
Mr Neil W, September 2014: brilliant! do you mind if i write about universityrooms.com on my blog www.aboatformypotplants.blogspot.com ?
Mr David M, September 2014: Accomodation pretty basic but good value for London. I have no complaints and will consider using again. Great location for central London.
Mrs Kathleen C, September 2014: This was our first time using University accommodation and it was a very positive experience. Would highly recommend it and will undoubtedly be doing so in the future.
Ms Andrea Michelle F, September 2014: Can't wait to stay here again!
Miss Naomi S, September 2014: Will use again, convenience was well worth it!
Mr Raymond B, September 2014: Fine location, adequate room for weekend break
Mrs Theresa S, September 2014: Value for money hope to repeat the experience again
Miss Sheila T, September 2014: As we were at the RAH all weekend, your services were convenient.
Clean room with the facilites which we needed. The staff were very quick with breakfast even though there was a queue.
Thank you to your staff
Mr Ken G, September 2014: Excellent service very happy indeed
Mrs Patricia S, September 2014: A very enjoyable visit. Will book with you again!
Dr Paul H, September 2014: Thank-you for providing very convenient and suitable conference accommodation, much appreciated. Yours faithfully, Paul Harrison
Mr Kenneth K, September 2014: Beit Hall is an excellent location for my annual visit to the Proms and cannot be faulted in any area. I look forward to my visit next year. Thank you.
Mr PETER D, September 2014: Excellent accommodation especially convenient for Proms visiting.
Mr Ross D, September 2014: Fantastic price for the location. Staff are really helpful as well.
Mr nick K, September 2014: Unfussy accommodation right on the doorstep of Royal Albert Hall.
Very good value for money for Proms stop over.
Ms Kimberly B, September 2014: Loved the use of Imperial College as a brand for the shower products! Great for the shower caps too
Dr Dorothy K, September 2014: Good value accommodation in a brilliant location
Mr Steven A, September 2014: Central to Kensington and right next to the Albert Hall. So handy for the Proms. Clean, quiet room with nice basic on suite. Highly recommended
Mr Graham D, September 2014: This is an above average students Hall of Residence. Rooms and public areas were well maintained. The room looked out onto the quad which was delightful. Although the Students Bar was just below, noise was not a problem. The breakfast buffet was substantial and service was well organized. I wish I could have taken advantage of the facilities at Ethos. The location was ideal for promming at the Albert Hall. Museums were all close by. Great experience, great value and I shall be booking at Beit Hall again.
Miss Hannah M, September 2014: Very good value for money and great location. It would be good if we could have had athe option of an earlier check in but could leave bags at the accommodation which was useful.
Mrs Anita S, August 2014: Fantastic, exclusive location adjacent to the Royal Albert Hall. Three major museums, Hyde Park and South Kensington Tube station all within easy walking distance. All staff were friendly and helpful - reception, room servicing and in the dining hall at Sherfield. We certainly intend to return.
Mr Victor F, August 2014: Happy with our stay definetely stay there again!!!
Mr Graham E, August 2014: Front desk staff VERY helpful & friendly.
Ms Judith C, August 2014: Great value in a central location. Staff friendly
Mrs Ann W, August 2014: Very helpful reception staff. Problem with shower rectified efficiently.
Dr Jackie G, August 2014: Good value. Central and comfortable.
Mrs J A E, August 2014: It was rather daunting at first to find the dining room for dinner Wednesday evening then the breakfast room Thursday morning but I am sure having had the experience once it will be so much easier the next time I stay.
Found you quite by chance whilst looking for a room for the night near The Royal Albert Hall. Very pleased to have found you.
Miss Angela H, August 2014: Re university staff/students directly involved in the accommodation programme : Excellent reception and room services. The welcoming, cheerful and well-organised catering staff managed large numbers of visitors exceptionally well. Many thanks to all. We appreciated your hard work and positive attitudes.
Mr David B, August 2014: Obviously being student accommodation it was very basic but the location right next to the Albert Hall was brilliant.
Mrs Justeen H, August 2014: Great experience, good clean rooms. Reception staff very polite. Excellent value for money. Planning to book again for long weekend :)
Mrs Julie R, August 2014: Excellent value accommodation in an outstanding location.
Mrs patricia B, August 2014: Really impressed with location, cleanliness and ease of use of facilities. Our few days in London were a great success, would definitely recommend this to anyone who wanted a value for money stay in London.
Mr Matthew W, August 2014: Breakfast, whilst obviously mass catering, was cold (plates and food) and a bad impression for the many foreigners. Food quality was generally good though. Room was fine and the location for the Albert Hall cannot be equalled. A bag left next to the bin was mistaken as rubbish and although only contained some food oddments, I wasn't impressed. Check in and out was business-like but not overly friendly. Sports facilities were very good and a worthwhile addition to the accommodation 'package' since I last stayed.
Fr.
Mr albert C, August 2014: it is so convenient when attending Proms at RAH to stay at this excellent venue
Mrs Rachael P, August 2014: The reception staff were very helpful - we has paid for an extra bed which hadn't been set up & reception were great at resolving this quickly at 10pm at night.
Mrs MARIE-ANNE P, August 2014: Great location to visit London, buildings are beautiful: especially in the light of sunset!Conveniently situated with good bus and tube services, and for the Proms we experienced(we are french) . Room clean and comfortable, nice touch to get tea and coffee facilities and a bottle of water, excellent house keepers and receptionists. We shall book again and recomend it to friends and family. Next time we'll ask for a view of the Albert Hall and it's a pity the window can be opened more even if it is for the safety!
Miss Ann S, July 2014: We were delighted with the accommodation at Beit Hall. It is very well sited for getting around London. The students who were staffing the desk were polite and very helpful, we shall certainly use the facilities if we come to London again and have recommended it to our friends. Breakfasts set us up for the day! Many thanks!
Mr Brian K, July 2014: About the fourth time I've stayed here, usually for the Proms. Very comfortable room, good breakfast, and of course extremely convenient for RAH. Excellent value.
Dr Girish L, July 2014: Excellent location and value for money. Basic but more than adequate rooms and facilities (crappy towels though!). Unbeatable combination of location and facilities for the money. Would definitely stay there again.
Mr Katherine K, July 2014: Room very clean and comfortable. Stairs issue with suitcases as lift didn't go directly to room level. Staff helpful.
Mrs stella H, July 2014: Room basic but very clean. Nice touch to get tea and coffee facilities and a bottle of water. Fan was v welcome since it was very hot.
Good value for money
Mrs Viviane H, July 2014: Very nice place with a wonderful staff.
Miss Yan Shan A, July 2014: Overall good experience, clean and pleasant environment.
Mrs Yvonne W, July 2014: We had a wonderufl time from the moment we checked in - excellent staff, nice rooms with good view of the Albert Hall, quite and clean, breakfast excellent - we would book again. thanks.
Mr Evan C, July 2014: Excellent value. Welcoming staff and having access to the swimming pool was a bonus. Situation couldn't be bettered.
Mrs Jennifer M, July 2014: Overall our stay was excellent. Room was clean and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. We were a bit worried after arriving after an 8 hour journey to have the girl booking us in tell us there was no record of our booking, despite presenting all of the initial paperwork. In the end after many confused facial expressions and no eye contact, she managed to find our booking which was not in Beit Hall, but in their sister accommodation over in Prince's Gardens. Not knowing London at all as it was our first visit, this caused a bit of anxiety (as I had worked out all of our directions beforehand), but once booked in all else went well.
Mr Taiwo Oluwasesan O, July 2014: Your overall performance is good.
Miss Nicola G, July 2014: Great location and atmosphere. Really enjoyed my stay.
Mr OLUSEGUN O, July 2014: Your service is good with excellent house keepers and receptionists .
Ms Anne R, July 2014: I had an exceptional service from reception and other staff, thank you
Mrs Tina B, July 2014: Overall, the accommodation was good - clean and comfy and all of the staff we met were friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were substantial and there was plenty of choice to suit all tastes. We didn't have any chance to try any of the sports facilities, too busy! The Eastside bar was excellent - we had Mezze which was well done and the drinks were nicely presented. The store was useful - especially being open until 9pm. I have only a couple of niggles;- the luggage storage is not at all secure - I felt that anyone could have walked in and taken stuff, especially at busy times ; secondly, no mirror anywhere near a plug socket in the room - I regard that as an essential basic requirement - had I known, I would have bought one with me - Many thanks
Mr PHILIP P, July 2014: Great location for really cheap price! Bed was a bit hard, but expected given you are in Uni Halls! Staff friendly and helpful. If you just want a basic room then this service is brilliant.
Mrs Carolyn J, July 2014: Excellent value for money and suburb location. Will definitely consider re booking next time I visit London.
Mr Bruce B, July 2014: Didn't have breakfast so couldn't comment on it but overall very good accommodation.
Ms Rosa C, September 2013: Very pleased with my stay. Excellent value for money. Will definitely come back!
Mr Douglas H, September 2013: Room not as good as last year and breakfast room extremely busy but well organised. Staff positive and welcoming. Would stay again.
Mrs Gillian M, September 2013: I booked two rooms for two nights. would book again, food was excellent.
the location ideal for visiting London. staff were helpful and friendly. only one problem we found both the beds uncomfortable
Mrs Jennie D, September 2013: Had an extremely pleaseant stay , The location was fabulous , and the rooms were pleaseant enough , good shower , clean and tidy , coffee and tea facilities and loved the little shower caps and hairbands . we would re book when coming again to London . Many thanks
Ms Alison D, September 2013: Much better experience than our last visit. Check in staff were polite and efficient. We were not told that we had to have our check in card stamped to visit the gym so had to come back to get this. Breakfast still chaotic, more room needed.
Mr Giancarlo L, September 2013: Stayed here for 6 days while attending a scientific conference in Imperial College. Generally hotels in London are expensive, good thing i stayed in Beit Hall instead. Its very affordable, clean room, great breakfast and nice people working in the front desk. I reccomend it to anyone looking for a place stay in London.
Mr John W, September 2013: We were pleased with the location and how very helpful the staff were.
M. Dominique R, September 2013: We enjoyed very much our stay in London at Beit Hall.
If these facilities were offered at other periods than summer time - mid terms for instance - that would be very much welcomed and appreciated. Thanks for letting us know in case such a possibility could be foreseen in the future.
Mrs janet l F, September 2013: This was my second stay at this address and the standards were just as good as before. My two friends who were visiting for the first time were equally impressed.

Ms Mary K, September 2013: I was very happy with my stay at Beit Hall. I first stayed there several years ago and while the price of rooms has increased, the number and quality of services has also improved immensely (gym, swimming pool, etc). I look forward to staying at Beit Hall again some time in the future.
Miss Maria P, September 2013: Great great accomodation, but you need to improve your breakfast, in addition to the english breakfast you must serve a continental breakfast. But you accomplished a nice standard overall.
Ms Trudy R, August 2013: Accommodation clean and comfortable. Staff all lovely. Scrambled eggs and breakfast were always cold but the rest of the breakfast good. Would recommend staying there to anyone and will be back myself. Thanks.
Dr Eirini S, August 2013: The room was fine for the price we paid for such central and excellent location. The quality of the breakfast was average but still satisfactory. The only negative experience we had was that the girl at the reception did not bother to explain us how we can find our room and it was a little confusing to find it.
Ms Gwenda L, August 2013: Fabulous accommodation, thank you. I was attending a prom and proximity to the Albert hall was fantastic. I went to Royal Holloway College many years ago and the whole experience took me back to my student days, in a good way!
Mr John C, August 2013: Good to see tea making facilities in room, but difficult to find electric socket!
Miss Qinghui F, August 2013: really love this place, convenient location.
Ms Vanessa C, August 2013: Our stay was really pleasant. People on reception were friendly and helpful. The rooms are basic but good value for money and clean. Breakfast is excellent and adds great value, please don't take breakfast away!
Ms Brenda T, August 2013: A great location for the Proms. Would definitely book again.
Miss May N, August 2013: Thank you very much for a very comfortable, affordable and enjoyable stay; with a lovely breakfast, great facilities and services and very friendly and helpful staff. I would definitely stay at Beit Hall or any other imperial collage accommodation whenever I am in London.
Mr H G J, August 2013: Excellent value for money for a Central London location. Ensuite room was very clean and well stocked both in relation to toiletries and tea making facilities. Breakfast was substantial with a good choice. I would definitely stay again.
Miss Jane B, August 2013: Extremely useful for one-night stays when visiting the Proms. I got to know about the service when I came on a work trip to the Kensington museums with my employer, Derby University, last year. Would recommend it to anyone visiting the museums and/or the Proms.
Mrs Fiona C, August 2013: A very reasonable, comfortable stay. The university is in an excellent location. I found the staff very helpful, good breakfast. It is the 2nd time I have stayed here and will certainly do so again.
Mr harold B, August 2013: super holiday in London so conveniently situated for city centre with good bus & tube services nearby, v&a /nat musem/and science musem round corner, albert hall at back of beit hall, breakfast in main college super, evening meals at eastside essentials good value for money, drinks at very reasonable prices, even better at students union bar beits hall all staff extremely helpful. will definitely book again when staying next time in London.

Mrs Daphne B, August 2013: Very handy for the Royal Albert Hall and excellent value for money.
Mr Ian C, August 2013: Very enjoyable and good location.
Mrs Karen T, August 2013: I've rated the overall experience excellent because of the fantastic location and room and facilities were very good value for money. Need new mattresses in room 38 other than that, lots of hot water, nice clean spacious room right next to the Albert Hall- great!
Mrs Doreen B, August 2013: This was our first time staying in Halls of Residence at any university, and having worked at Imperial in years gone by, I thought it would be worth trying. We had a great experience, particularly as we had a wonderful view of the Royal Albert Hall and the Royal College of Music. I will recommend this to others. We hope to return again to make more use of the facilities (we did not have the time use the sports facilities) and the location. Thank you again.
Mrs Susan H, August 2013: Have used before & have widely recommended to friends

Mr Stuart S, August 2013: Very satisfied with an excellent value for money stay-over. All members of staff whom we came in contact with, however busy, were friendly, welcoming and helpful.
Mrs Pat H, August 2013: Another great stay at Beit Hall. An efficient and welcoming reception whicn appeared to be manned 24 hours. Overall the accomodation is excellent for a short stay. Functional room with tea/coffee making facilities and a very clean en-suite. The breakfasts have vastly improved and are now excellent with loads of choice. Drinks and cooked food are available during the day from the Hall bar and for the area are reasonably priced. The Hall is well served by bus routes and is within easy walking distance of Underground stations. Tremendous value for money and I would highly recommend it.

Dr NINO K, August 2013: In July I was at the scientific conference in the Imperial College and was accommodated at Beit Hall.
It was excellent budget accommodation in central London. Room was comfortable and clean with tea-coffee making facilities. Fast internet was available, also sport facilities and good breakfast was included in the room price.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The accommodation is convenient for students and scientists.

I shall always stay at the hall
Ms Louise B, July 2013: Couldn't have had a better room - fabulous outlook. People at reception desk very helpful in the main. Wigi worked well. My only gripe was that there was not a secure place to leave my luggage before check in (only alternative was just near reception). Will recommend you to others.

so convenient for the RAH !
Mr Andrew B, August 2012: Very good location, friendly staff,
Mr Ian D, August 2012: Second stay at Beit Hall. Room was of a better standard of presentation than previously, in a quiet part of the building, as requested. Check-in was straightforward and we were shown to our room as the building is a bit of a rabbit warren. This really helped. Breakfast was a quiet affair, shared with Russian and Japanese Olympic delegates. Excellent location in the heart of London. Shame we booked relatively late on and could only stay one night. No doubt will be back.
Mr Martin W, August 2012: Would have no hesitation whatever in recommending the service - in fact, I have already done so! The accommodation was very good, and all the staff were cheerful and helpful
Mr DAVID C, August 2012: Ideal location for attending Olympics.Would definitely stay here again when visiting London
Mrs Frances R, August 2012: Location superb. Facilities clean and functional, although the shower could do with updating (the knob was difficult to turn on and off and required some strength to turn). Staff all friendly. Cooked breakfast fine, although cold. Would nevertheless return on a next visit to London!

Mrs Lesley B, July 2012: We were very impressed with the standard of the accommodation and friendly and helpful young staff
Ms Gwenda L, July 2012: I attended Prom number 2 and proximity to the Royal Albert Hall was wonderful. I also appreciated being able to access the Eastside restaurant and Beit Hall bar as the prices were very reasonable. (I paid over £8 for a glass of wine at the Albert Hall!!!)
I was a student at Royal Holloway College from 1980 to 1984 and it reminded me of being a student!
Excellent service which I will use again and recommend to others
Mrs judy K, July 2012: Our stay at the Imperial College was excellent. The location is perfect for anything you want to do in London. I t also had excellent access to the trains.
Mr Evelyne V, July 2012: A great place to stay when in London. Friendly staff and peaceful neighbourhood. The breakfast is all right, although an option of fresh fruit would be a good addition. The rooms are very spacious and clean. I would recommend this accommodation to other people.
Ms Sue H, July 2012: Good facility, great location. Staff were helpful. Would stay here again.
Mrs Jillian C, July 2012: This really was a most satisfactory place to stay. The staff were most curteous. Would definitely rebook again
Mrs Ruth F, July 2012: An "oasis" in London. Especially good for Albert Hall. We also used the leisure facilities - pool and steam room were super. Overall outstanding value for money.
Mrs Marian S, July 2012: A most convenient location, everyone helpful and friendly. Standard of room and breakfast better than many higher priced hotels. A return visit is a must. Thank you
Mrs LINDA F, July 2012: Haven't stopped here for about 7 years and was very pleased to find standards as high as previously .
Ms Helen B, July 2012: The location was ideal for us, and the people at reception unfailingly helpful and cheerful. Breakfast was delicious and offered a wide range of choices - loved the fresh fruit salad! The only suggestion we would make is that the pillows in the rooms were very small. It would be helpful to have two of that size or one more substantial one. Thanks for everything - we've already recommended Beit Hall to others.
Miss Gertrude W, July 2012: An excellent place to stay in London. Basic but I only used it to sleep. It is also very central for sight seeing.
Mr Thomas N, July 2012: Second time to stay here - again very happy with accomodation & will return !
Mrs Connie T, July 2012: Very satisfied with everything, - wonderful location, safe, clean, and friendly.
Miss Elizabeth H, September 2011: As usual I was impressed by the helpfulness and friendliness of the Reception staff. My room was beautifully clean and well equipped!
Oh dear, the breakfast! There was a lot of it, and it was better than last year! I've been staying at Beit for eleven years now and hopefully for another eleven! It is fantastic value for money, and I wouldn't stay anywhere else!!
Dr Elaine W, September 2011: We had a wonderful stay. The location was perfect for us - just next door to the Albert Hall. The room was clean and functional. The breakfast was superb. Thanksyou.
Dr peter W, August 2011: A very pleasant stay. Quiet, convenient and relaxed.
Miss Judith E, August 2011: This is THE place to stay in the summer if you want to visit The Proms! Ideal location, clean and comfortable rooms at a very good rate. Couldn't be better.
Miss stefania M, August 2011: Great location. Near to Royal Albert Hall and to the underground. Excellent price!!! It will be my first choice when we'll come back to london in august!!!!
Miss Jane H, August 2011: Wi-fi in room would be great, but overall a wonderful place to stay.
Mrs Barbara P, August 2011: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in LIC - it was a great experience and one we hope to enjoy again. Our room was large and the beds comfortable. The only small gripe was the lack of a mirror in the room although there was a large one in the shower room. Everything worked perfectly and the room was cleaned daily including replenishing of tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast time was busy but seemed to work seamlessly with enormous portions served quickly and efficiently.
We had a couple of meals in East Side bar which were delicious and the staff all worked extremely hard.
Finally - the position of this uni is perfect for a stay in central London. The no. 9 bus runs every few minutes from outside Hyde Park to Piccadilly.
Annie W, July 2011: Good value, no-frills accommodation in an excellent location - with nearby buses and tubes to take you anywhere you want to go. Wide range of ages and nationalities staying in the halls and safe and interesting surroundings for a retired country-mouse-visiting-the-city like me. Clean, tidy rooms and a bit of a scrum for breakfast: back to life as a student!
Mr Rob H, July 2011: Very enjoyable night's stay. Good breakfast.
Joan M, September 2010: First night was freezing - no heating. but appreciated the extra duvet provided on request. I would have thought the coffee/tea/shower gel would have been renewed each day automatically as it would be for one night stays. An extension lead would have been useful so the kettle didn't have to boiled on the floor and a hairdryer could be used. But the location is fantastic for the price and reception staff couldn't have been more helpful so would certainly come again
Yeung Ka Ying, September 2010: overall is good, good location, clean the room everyday, the toilet is clean, the bathroom is clean, but the outside is a bit noise in the mid-night.
Mark C, September 2010: Although I was concerned about noise from the quadrangle on the first night the problem didn't happen on subsequent nights.
I will certainly consider staying at Imperial again in the future if I'm staying in London and will suggest it to others.
Sarah O, September 2010: Excellent accommodation and very helpful staff!
Leonard B, September 2010: Always a delight to stay at Imperial on my visits from Canada.
Great Breakfasts! THANKS.
Miss Grace A. B, September 2010: Perfect place for an overnight stay, particularly if you are a woman on your own and want a sense of security. Staff were great and I am recommending to all my friends
RAVINDRA G, September 2010: Internet access was slow / Wifi was weak. A facility to print docs for a reasonable fee would be useful.A microwave oven in the rooms would be useful as well. Breakfast was excellent. Housekeeping, particularly attending to fused bulbs or clogged drains or replenishing bath / tea-coffee items was found wanting.Maybe there could be one attendant to take care in the evening hours. Otherwise location, easy access and the Imperial Brand name make the residences great VFM. I have no hesitation in recommending to business / casual visitors looking for decent accommodation at sub-100 ppd.
Laurence F, September 2010: Room was a little 'tired' with some rust and flaking of paint and fittings in the shower. One of the biggest problems was no easy access to drinking water. Despite the kitchen area being opposite the room I was allocated this was double locked and I had no access to water, other than the 500ml provided to the room to cover the 2 days I was staying. The staff were very friendly, polite and efficient.
Mrs j v W, September 2010: We truly enjoyed our stay, both had perfect night's sleep (we expected it to
be noisy with students). Breakfast to die for! Everywhere sparklingly clean. The young ladies on Reception were delightful, so helpful and kind.
We have the dates you are open next year and intend to stay with you again during the summer, as well as for The Big Sing. Our first visit.
lisa D, September 2010: Perfect location for a night after the proms
John L, September 2010: Didn't have breakfast - I left too early to go to LHR. I will use your booking system again
David M. F, September 2010: Great location...within walking of bus stops as well as the Tube station .
My wife and I are retired and travel internationally often . Beit Hall is a great budget location . We would not hesitate staying there again when in London .
David and Jill
Andrew S, September 2010: I'll definitely be recommending university rooms to others and will be utilising your services again in the future.
Excellent location and value for money!
The directions to the accommodation from the tube station were very useful.
Rob E, September 2010: Great locationa and great value.
Kathryn B, September 2010: It would have been ideal to have WiFi available in all rooms. The location was, however, ideal for the Royal Albert Hall, and we knew we were booking into an old hall.
Edward B, September 2010: We would have preferred a room looking into the quadrangle rather than out at the road but we thought the location was excellent for visiting a number of important cultural sites. Would definitely recommend and will visit again next summer.
Brian R, September 2010: excellent - I made a point of re booking from last year and the standards have not changed. Thankyou see you next September
Peter K, September 2010: What great value for money, and such a convenient location for the Proms. My second year, and hope to return next August.
Christel C, September 2010: The staff at reception was very welcoming, polite and helpful - at all times, e.g. booking a taxi for our departure the night before. We would definitely like to stay again.
Jean McCarthy, September 2010: A nice clean room, only quibble would be that there was only one pillow which was quite thin but that's a personal thing. Would definitely use again especially for late night Proms!
Dawn L, September 2010: Very handy for the Proms!!!
Good value for London.
Dr L E F, September 2010: Excellent place to stay for the Proms.
T M, September 2010: Appreciated the upgrade to Southside. Best place to stay when attending the Proms.
Lorraine van Blerk, September 2010: Very helpful staff on reception.
Alison W, September 2010: Lovely staff in reception. I asked for am extra pillow and it was there when I returned to tne room. All very helpful and organised.
Also, a wonderful quiet room!
Glennis D, September 2010: Every year I thoroughly enjoy staying at Beit Hall. The location is superb as I use it as a base for the Proms. The new bar/cafe facilities at Eastside are absolutely brilliant - the food is superb and the staff are extremely friendly. The standard is that of a high class restaurant, but at very low cost. Please pass my congratulations to the chef and other staff! Might I suggest, however, that you keep the prices low for students there, but have a slightly higher price for those like myself, ie non-students?
I'm looking forward to staying with you next summer.
Incidentally, I have stayed on one occasion, a few years ago, in a self-catering appartment for 4/5 people, which was stunning, in Prince's Gardens (number 46?47?). Is that still available for people like me to rent?
Thank you very much!
STEPHEN P, September 2010: The shower did not work, and the window had to be wedged open with a bottle.
However the room was clean, the breakfast choice excellent and the reception staff very helpful indeed. The en suite was a pleasant surprise. Excellent value for money- I will be staying again!
Peter M, August 2010: As there was a central garden/courtyard at the halls it did mean that there were people outside the garden facing rooms until after midnight. Also the corridor doors hd very strong springs so every time someone went along the corridor the door banged.
Terry H, August 2010: Returning visitor for Proms. The usual high standard. Thank you. Hope to return for 2011 season
John G, August 2010: The most ideal location for going to the Proms. Hope the same rates will apply next year.
Jennifer A, August 2010: Absolutely brilliant time, perfect for what we needed. No complaints at all, only praise!
Madonna B, August 2010: A great alternative for a cheaper stay in London. fabulous location. very clean & comfortable
AMANDA D, August 2010: Very convenient location for RAH. A bit gloomy as one of the 2 room lights and the desk lamp were not working.
Mrs Christine M, August 2010: This is an excellent facility and all good. The room was fine, little bit of basic painting/cleaning needed on windows and bathroom but acceptable and excellent value for London and the Royal Albert Hall.
Sue C, August 2010: Beit Hall is a great place to stay in the centre of London, especially if your are attending The Proms as we were.
The room was basic, as we had expected, but it was clean and served us well. The breakfast was very good value indeed. We would certainly stay again and will recommend it to our friends.
Mark M, August 2010: Room clean and everything worked well - good showers, comfy beds
Location next to Albert Hall was brilliant
Could give more help on parking cars. parked in street as campus parking was not available until the evening which seemed strange,
Julie S, August 2010: We enjoyed our stay at Beit Hall very much. We were very impressed by the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the room and the location. We consider the accommodation to be excellent value for money and a great location for London attractions. We've already recommended the accommodation to family and friends and we hope to stay here again.
Howard P, August 2010: A very comfortable, relaxing and peaceful stay. Also very convenient for attending the Proms next door at the Royal Albert Hall!! It's a shame this accommodation is not available all year round.
Mary B, August 2010: Great location with easy travel access. Very enjoyable stay. Thank you.
Geoffrey M, August 2010: The welcome was warm and welcoming. Room 147 was an excellent size with a splendid view across the rear flight of steps down from the Albert Hall which, on balance, I preferred to one facing into Beit quadrangle. I was impressed with the firmness of the mattresses, bearing in mind it was student accommodation. The bathroom was small but perfectly adequate with a surprisingly strong shower. One minor matter of housekeeping for you - the toilet roll holder is coming away from the wall owing to wear and tear, not that this was a problem for us in any way. The walk from Beit House to the breakfast building was much shorter than I expected. The breakfast was substantial and very pleasant, especially as we managed to get a table for two by the window. All in all it was an enjoyable and highly satisfactory visit. I shall be recommending not only to my colleagues (Queen's University, Belfast) but also to adult students who attend my 'Travel Talk' series of lectures. This is a twice a year course I run teaching older people (in the Lifelong Learning section) how to use the Internet for their travels! I left in the firm belief Rom 147 had been EXCELLENT value for money. I will be back!
Estelle W, August 2010: most convenient. Clean and warm room. Super value. Very helpful and pleasant reception staff
Daniel L, August 2010: The people at the front desk were very helpful, informative, and kind. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast was great. Good deal. Thanks.
M A K, August 2010: Great rooms, good staff, good food. All in all, best value for money in London.
Judith C, August 2010: All the staff we came in contact with were very good and always helpful. Would definately stay again and recommend to friends.
RICHART VAZQUEZ R, August 2010: I strongly believe that it was a good deal considering the cost. I would suggest though the free access to internet since this is given in all hotels for free.
VERONICA C, August 2010: My compliments to the staff on reception, who were pleasant and cheerful and to the housekeeping staff for the high standard of their work.
It is always a pleasure to stay at Beit Hall.
Peter N, August 2010: Overall good and cheap accommodation for a budget. Location is fantastic. Breakfast becomes boring. Internet access is excellent.
Mr P F Y, August 2010: The breakfast experience, in terms of the sheer numbers of people being fed, was not for the faint-hearted. Some warning in the publicity blurb that Prom concert-goers who book in to Imperial College rooms would find themselves among hordes of student groups would have alerted us to the fact that we were not going to experience cloistered calm!
Ann W, August 2010: overall we enjoyed our visit to Beit Hall and would highly recommend it to others.
angelika S, August 2010: a truly great place to stay, felt like a campus student again!!! Beit hall has lots of characte, the staff was ever so friendly n helpful. i was amazed how quiet it was at night due to my room outlooking onto the quadrangle. i will come and stay again, for sure!!!!
valerie F, July 2010: All was good, excepted my room: I was very disappointed to not have a real double/twin like pictures on website, but a single with a second bed. I travel with my daughter, and that'ld be more comfortable.
Next year , i wish coming again,
see you soon
Miranda P, July 2010: Very nice people! Thanks
Max H, July 2010: good value for money; we enjoyed our stay.
Alston, July 2010: Wonderful position, great room, great service. Loved it . Thankyou.
DERWENT S, July 2010: ALL staff particularly pleasant, helpful and efficient.
VERONICA C, July 2010: The standard of cleanliness was excellent - my congratulations to your hosekeeping staff
Kirsty M, July 2010: Thoroughly delighted with everything, heard about it after my dad recommended Beit Hall to me and I have recommended to a friend too.
carmel S, July 2010: I am not very mobile but they managed to put me into a room with only 5 steps to climb. The room I had first been given over the phone had, unfortunately, not been cleaned that day, so I was immediately put into a room that was fully prepared for a new guest. I needed more pillows with which I was happily supplied.
The reception desk couldn't have been more helpful and I fully enjoyed my time there.
Terry H, July 2010: Beit Hall is a superb location for the Proms. My scoring isn't just a halo, repetition effect but reflect comparisons from the days before I discovered Imperial.
Collette E, July 2010: Good value for money; exceptionally clean; very pleasant helpful staff. One room was clearly a twin room, two beds, two desks, two wardrobes, two chairs, 2 lights etc; the other was obviously a single room with an extra put up bed, one chair, one wardrobe and was too small fot two people. The beds were too hard for a middl aged lady - me! The younger members of the party were fine. overall a good experience.
bernadette mc gowan N, July 2010: only problem was that it was noisy but the location was excellent for a visit to london with my 18 y.o. daughter and we loved the college athmosphere
Garyle V, July 2010: Everyone was very helpful. I loved that the World Cup was made available to everyone!
Helen K, July 2010: Single room was excellent value for money (£50) in central London - clean, quiet, comfortable bed and helpful staff. Have recommended it to friends.
Gerda Stenderup P, July 2010: We would like to come again - have also recommended you for friends who are going to London later this summer.
Zara S, July 2010: I was extremely impressed! Staff on the desk were very helpful. The room was spacious, clean & well-equipped. I will definitely book again.
Caron M, July 2010: I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness, helpful staff, and great breakfast if a little chaotic. After a disappointing stay at a tired Travel lodge in Kings Cross earlier in the week at a higher rate without breakfast, it was an oasis of calm and very welcoming, with tea making facilities and water. We also took advantage of the swimming pool and had a cheap drink in the bar.I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay in London.
C A B, July 2010: excellent quality of room and service - very good value for only a little money
Mrs L S, July 2010: Surprised not to be able to drink the tap water but a water cooler was provided in reception area. It would have been helpful to have the cooler pointed out on arrival. We greatly appreciated the provision of a fan in the bedroom. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Great location, very clean.
Maria L, July 2010: extremely nice and very competent maths student at the reception on the night of our arrival (Friday July 2nd).
We didn't have breakfast, so can't comment
Mrs Ada R, July 2010: Reception staff very polite and efficient.
wendy P, July 2010: the service from the front desk was outstanding. the staff was most helpful. i enjoyed my stay at the residence and would have no hesitation in recommending your facility.
Imréné Sarkadi Á, July 2010: I was really satisfied with the accommodation and the helpful and friendly attitude of the staff (the receptionists and assistants at the breakfast).
The housekeeping service was also great.
The location is perfect:very nice bulidings, quiet and safe neighbourhood.
Janet W, July 2010: The bottle of drinking water in room on arrival was most welcome. I liked having an en-suuite for a single room which is not always possible to find. Two very quiet nights, with some noise (doors closing) on third night. Breakfast was a wide choice which was lovely, the tea and coffee from the drinks machines was awful though.
Sheila F, July 2010: Good value for money in central London and we appreciated our request for a quiet room. The room was very clean and there was constant hot water. Supplying a fan in the very hot weather was a welcome idea. Would use again. However we would have liked the complimentary bottles of water to be replaced when used. We were told as policy this only happened on the first day. The sign in the bathroom instructed us not to drink water from the tap and we did not have access to a kitchen. what is the difference between the room being let to 6 separate couples on 6 different nights and to one couple for 6 nights?
Brian P, July 2010: Great value London accommodation, close to underground and museums. Nice welcoming staff. But two grumbles. Didn`t do breakfast because the directions for getting there were yoo complicated. I stayed on a hot sticky, midsummer night, but the only ventilation was a window that opened just a few inches. An electric fan would have been a help.
Leena S, July 2010: wireless internet could be better in the rooms
PAOLO, July 2010: excellent quality / price will advise to other people
Regards Paul Posar
Tõnu M, July 2010: Booking was easy and fast. The room contained all essentials, but needed some fixing and refreshing (paint was flaking off both in the sleeping room and in the bathroom). Lack of air conditioning could be regarded normal in this price segment but it was still rather hard to survive in this particular case, because of very high summer temperatures outside. A good surprise was low street noise.
Room service was disappointing (they nearly always forgot something) and lack of drinking water in the room was not very pleasant. I found a "do not drink tap water" label in the bathroom, but a limited quantity of drinking water was provided only on the very first day of my six night stay. Internet connection in the room was available for a special price only.
In summary, it was still quite a good value for this price, regarding the position in the city. Quality of the stay could be much improved by making arrangements for drinking water and for more careful room service. Free internet in the room could be a nice bonus capable of inviting me to book again.
Dilys W, July 2010: We shall be using your facilities again !
Stephen M, July 2010: great location for our long weekend in London. Comfortable beds & terrific breakfast. High temperatures at night - but the fan helped! Will definitely use again.
