, September 2013: I used this as an alternative to a hotel which is what I would usually book. The room was clean and tidy and had everything I needed (except wifi seemed to not be working). For location and value for money I thought it was excellent. I didn't go to the breakfast so unable to comment on that but was unable to put n/a on the feedback scores. 4/5

, August 2013: Comfortable, clean & safe. My room was a bit noisy being on the ground floor near the exit, but I probably could have changed it if I had asked. Good basic breakfast. Recommended for any travellers on a budget 4/5

, August 2013: I was upgraded to the flat for some reason and hence fabulous stay and probably also worth paying the extra for the top floor as very VFM for London and relative to other hotels. The only thing at breakfast--no proper coffee. 5/5

, August 2013: Was my first time staying in university accommodation and I would certainly do it again great value for money 5/5

, August 2013: I was delighted by my night's stay - very comfortable and quiet, despite the many students that were staying there. Got a great night's sleep and view of the Shard to boot - who could ask for more! Being able to park cheaply whilst in central London was also a great bonus. Many thanks 4/5

, August 2013: We had a very enjoyable exprience at Bankside House. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was superb. Fantastic location. Only minor point, we had to ask for toilet roll, shampoo and shower gel on second day as none had been left. Thanks to all.:-) 5/5

, August 2013: Bankside is what it says it is - university accommodation - so it isn't luxurious, but it was perfect for our needs. Great location, room perfectly adequate, reception desk and bag storage friendly and efficient. It suited our needs perfectly at a great price for central London. I'd recommend it whole heartedly, and hope to be back one day soon! 5/5

My daughter ,who was with me and had been to university, was concerned what my reaction would be, was also very impessed. We will most definetly use them again. i have already recommended them to some friends. 5/5

A clean room with en-suite bathroom and tea-making facilities, a great breakfast, a good value bar in the basement, and perfectly placed for sightseeing. Would definitely come here again. 5/5

Mr JOHN ZEIDLER, October 2012: Very pleasant, helpful staff.Very good value for money. Thank you ! 5/5

Ms Jennifer Pugh, October 2012: I had a great time during my stay in London and I was really happy with Bankside house. The facilities are very basic, but they provide everything you need and the front desk is helpful and polite. 4/5

Sra. Recomiendo el sitio (yo he repetido estancia). 4/5

Ms Angela Edward, September 2012: I had a really great time - the location was excellent and the facilities and staff brilliant - I'd highly recommend it. 5/5

Mr Vincent Smeaton, September 2012: Please note that there were no breakfasts served here. Overall this was good for the price. Room is old, but that is not really a problem.Apart from that the kitchen facilities were very satisfactory, the washing facilities in the room well very welcome and the shower worked well. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is excellent, being infact, within walking distance of Waterloo. 4/5

Miss Pam Cresswell, September 2012: Absolutely great value for money, brilliant breakfast and super location!!! 5/5

Mrs Deborah Marshall, September 2012: We enjoyed our stay at Bankside House (mother and daughter - two nights, sharing twin room). It was as expected of student accomodation - big and busy; some noise at night, especially the plumbing! Breakfast was very good. Check in staff were helpful. Very convenient situation and reasonable cost. We would stay again. 4/5

Mrs Fiona Konteh, September 2012: Can't remeber the room number but it was a quad room on 2nd floor. It was basic as we had expected but spotlessly clean and very adequate. Only comment is I would have appreciated a hairdryer in the room! Breakfast was great really good value for money and we will be recommending you to friends. Thank you 5/5

Mr Derek Wright, September 2012: Good value for money in a central location. Reception staff were very helpful, as was the barman. 4/5

Miss Marijke Brink, September 2012: Exactly as expected of a student room in terms of facilities and decoration of the room itself. The restaurant serves a fantastic breakfast! Staff very friendly and helpful; bar with extremely friendly prices. Overall very satisfied, I will book here again! 5/5

Mrs Genevieve Mullins, September 2012: Ideal location 4/5

Mr Mark Marston, September 2012: Excellent stay, good comfortable room, excellent breakfast, fortunate to get a parking space right outside. Only "complaint" no wireless network.... 4/5

Ms Judith Shaw, August 2012: My husband loved the breakfast with the news on the TV! The staff were friendly and very helpful with the internet. I loved being able to use a wide carpeted staircase with huge windows to get to my room 4/5

Mr David Knee, August 2012: Bankside House is hugely convenient from a location perspective for exploring central London. However, it is somewhat noisy at night thanks to groups of younger guests hanging around outside. The mattresses have seen better days as well. But for the price and the location it's great value for money. 4/5

Mr Michael White, August 2012: Very pleased with our stay 5/5

Mrs Daniela Gallantq, August 2012: The size of the family room was a positive surprize. the room was clean and the prize was good. 4/5

Mrs Louise Handley, August 2012: Found the instructions to find Bankside a bit confusing and had to ask someone where to go. We thought it would be better to include the Blackfriars Tube Station, walk across the bridge to the Tate Modern and then take the path at the left hand side to the back of the Tate Modern. The staff are very friendly and we would stay here again. Very clean. Excellent value for money. 5/5

Mrs Elizabeth Riggs, August 2012: We had a lovely stay thank you 5/5

Mrs Jan Truswell, August 2012: Friendly, helpful staff. Straightforward, basic accommodation. Great location. 4/5

Mr Eliott Orford, August 2012: Very nice staff, easy place to find and room was very clean. Great location to see London. 4/5

Ms Aileen Jones, August 2012: A very pleasant stay in LSE south bank. the room was just what we needed, but it did smell a bit 'musty' - like my son's room in hall in Sheffield! However, that would not deter me from booking in the future as it was excellent value for money to stay in central London for the Olympics. Thanks. 4/5

Mr Ian Potter, August 2012: Excellent location and at a reasonable rate.... Would use it again 4/5

Miss Wai Ling TAM, August 2012: I would recommend Bankside House for those who are looking for "good value for money". 4/5

Mrs Hilary Paul, September 2011: Very good value for money particularly because of position of accomodation so close to Tate Modern/Globe etc. 4/5
