, September 2015: We enjoyed our time at Bankside House. The staff was helpful and curious and the location was central to everything we wanted to do. The value for the location was fantastic. I will definitely be posting on Trip Advisor. We especially enjoyed breakfast both for the selection (chocolate croissants!)and the helpful ladies behind the country and cooks! 4/5

, September 2015: On arrival I was told I had been upgraded to a twin room with en suite shower room for individual use in a quiet part of the building! That's service! This was my second visit and was not disappointed. The breakfast was again excellent though I did marvel at the greed of some visitors!!! 7 items plus unlimited toast, unlimited hot and cold drinks and 2 pieces of fruit must be enough for the largest appetite!!! The kitchen staff were super and so responsive and friendly when one said, "Thank you" and smiled. I was there for 5 nights and was greeted warmly every morning, delightful! The only 'hiccup' was over excited guests on the Sunday evening after the Notting Hill Carnival! I did lose my cool at 4 a.m. and shout at the gentlemen who were talking outside my door! Thankfully there was not a repeat on Monday! The situation is ideal for soaking up the culture on the South Bank. When I next come to London, Bankside will be my base! By the way, I am 60+!!! 5/5
